Slugger is a labradoodle that we rescued when we were out to lunch one day. We literally went out to lunch, we saw Slugger, fell in love... and the rest is history. Well, not quite. He ended up having Parvo and we went through quite the struggle with him in the first few months of his life. We nearly lost him, but we fought to keep him alive no matter the cost. And boy are we glad we did! A few months after the Parvo battle, he ended up breaking his front right leg while playing outside with our lab. That didn't slow him down a bit, and after 6 weeks of healing, he was back at it!
