Teddy is one handsome little man! He has a gorgeous coat - the colouring looks like he might have some Australian shepherd in him maybe? All that matters though is that he's 50% cute and 50% sweetpea!! ;o)

what a handsome boy! My guess would be that he has some Spitz or Pomeranian in him to get the thickness of the coat and that little fox face. The coloring though is so interesting. He's brindle! Most brindle dogs are in the bully family like pitbulls, boxers, mastiffs. Maybe he has some pitbull in him since he's not too big though. You really can never tell though, only guess with dogs. My aunt recently bought a puppy--looks just like a yellow lab, the little cutie, but she tells us on one side he's full lab, and on the other he's got a fraction of Shetland, Boxer, Lab and one more...I think it was a Beagle. You wouldn't tell just by looking at the little guy though. He's a purebred Lab by anyone's guess :P

Awe... thank you so much for all your comments and especially your ideas to what you think Teddy is made of, lol! If you look at the photos of my son holding him, you can see just how much fur he lost... is this normal? I really hope it grows back ;o)

He does have the same ears as my Nani girl, doesn't he??? I think you might be right about the small bit of Boston Terrier in him!!! You should get a DNA test done on him, and who knows, you might be right!!! It might be kinda fun to see what makes up that cute mutt Teddy!

I actually enquired, through my vet, about a DNA test. I can't afford it right now but I am definitely considering it in the near future because I am just way too curious... my husband is always saying to him, "what are you? who are you?" I guess you'd have to hear how he says it to agree it's funny ;o)

Teddy is so cute. When Teddy gives you kisses that means he is thanking all the time for rescuing him from a high-kill shelter. Just saying again he is 2 cute.
