Cooper became part of our family in 2006 when he was 6 years old. His previous loving family could not keep him any longer so we took him in. Despite his age, Coop is full of spunk, loves to run, and never tires of chasing tennis balls. The colder the weather, the more energy he gets. Cooper is incredibility intelligent. It is amazing and entertaining to watch him figure things out. He is a very happy dog and loves everyone, especially those who will play with him. Cooper is a very obedient and is a great off-leash dog. However, he did train us to let him cuddle on the couch after dinner and has become a bed hog. He loves to go for rides in the car and sits in the front seat so he can assist in the driving. Cooper's adorable personality has converted me from a cat person to a dog person.
He's a glorious example of doghood. Keep enjoying him and his personality, you're very lucky.

I'm wiping tears from my cheeks this morning. Dear Cooper reminds me very much of my Josh who lived to the ripe old age of 15. Kisses on that sweet graying muzzle from me. Shorthairs are amazingly smart dogs (and known bed hogs - lol). Bless your hearts.
