Fry looks a lot like my 17 year old Duffy and we think she has a lot of Papillon in her.

He's a cutie!

What a loss of a great little dog this would have been if you had not rescued this little Fry-Baby! He's definitely part Pap - just look at those butterfly ears!
I hope you have many long and happy years together. Give Fry a BIG hug from me

I'm so glad that you rescued this little cutie! He looks like he has great joy for life.

What a grand time Fry looks to be having. I am pretty sure that he most definitely has a lot of Pap in him

Very cute little guy. HOW could anyone leave him at a shelter? Thank heaven he was rescued just in time. :)

Shelter dogs need homes now. Both of my dogs are rescues. My big Shep/Rottie mix I found on the street almost frozen and starved to death as a puppy --now he's the 'best dog ever!'-- and my Pomeranian I adopted from my local shelter. I can't imagine my life without them.

Good luck to Fry! Hope he gets lots and lots of Thanksgiving treats this year. :)

Thank you for rescuing dogs. It is a generous act of kindness and you also get a great pet as well!
Many years of love and doggie kisses to you!

What do you mean, this toy is too big for my mouth? I'll show you! Hee! So cute! I also love the pic of Fry running and playing in the yard. He looks so happy. And the one black ear, one (mostly) white ear thing is so cute! What a great dog!

I am so happy you saved Fry from being euthanized. He sounds like quite a character with much spirit! :-)

I love rescued pups - and what a precious one this is! :-)

What a cutie! Did he get his name from Futurama?

Also, my partner's dog's mom is half Papillon, and Fry looks very, very similar to his dog. The colouring is different, but similar head shape, ear- and tail-fluff, and it looks like they also share the tendency to be happy and goofy, and a proclivity for taking on oversize stuffed toys.

Lucky Fry and lucky you!

My daughter has a pappy, named pappy. What wonderful little dogs. Very very smart. Hugs and kisses to Fry.

Fry's Roomie: Thanks for all of the wonderful comments. I know his parents appreciate it!

And to tr1c14: Yes, Fry was named for Phillip J. Fry of Futurama (we have another dog here named Leela).

This pic brought on an instant chuckle--how cute is he?!! Lucky for everyone that you found each other just in time, and that you shared him with all of us, thanks! Many happy years!!

I love the pure joy in this photo! Fry is definitely living the high life now. That fluffy tail is almost unreal. Many hugs and kisses to you, Fry!

Fry you are such a happy looking little bloke, and handsome to match. Continue to have a great life as you came so close to not being here to enjoy your wonderful life.

Hugs and thanks for saving Fry! I am wondering how ANYONE could stick a needle in such a cutie pie and put him to sleep... I love rescue mutts... they are the BEST dogs ever!

Nov 21, 2007 DogMom

Fry is one cute little guy!!!

Nov 21, 2007 OleBrumm

Fry may even be all-Pap. Here in Europe, the Paps with the ears like that are called Phalenes ("phal?ne" is French for moth). They are rarer than Papillions and were the original variety, seen in many paintings of European royalty. He is lovely.

This is a funny picture. He looks like he is chewing on a shoe. Fry is one lucky guy! Enjoy!
