Sputnik is an almost three-year-old Cockalier, which is a hybrid of a cocker spaniel and a Cavalier King Charles spaniel. She was born in Rhode Island, but now lives in Connecticut. We initially hoped Sputnik would become a Frisbee dog, but it became quickly apparent that she much prefers snuggling with her mom as opposed to chasing a Frisbee. Sputnik is incredibly kind and loving. She is able to sense moods very easily and enjoys nothing more than hanging out with humans and getting her belly rubbed.
