Thank you for taking a picture that shows Jake's shape. While studies of pups faces are nice, I like to see what kind of tail a dog when I'm unfamiliar. This is a very old breed, dates back to Pre-Renaissance!

I love Jake's soft expression! I'd want to take him everywhere with me, too!

I love the 2nd to last picture of him - poor baby. Classic shot with what I call the "satellite dish" and the little pink tongue. Very intelligent eyes on Jake; he looks like a wonderful friend.

I've never heard of a lowchen but if jake is one, what a gorgeous breed!

Gorgeous little guy -- love the E-collar pic -- the little pink tongue just kills me. Enjoy your handsome boy for many healthy happy years.

Jake is a real character. It's not enough just to be a sweet-faced boy but he has charm, too !! Lowchen translates to mean "Little Lion Dog" but he's kept in a puppy cut which is adorable.

I was glad when the AKC finally recognized the Lowchen.

I've seen them at Westminster the last few years and they are too cute for words!

Jake - you are such a great poser! It was really difficult picking just one picture. He is by far the cutest lowchen I've seen. Sounds like he is as lucky to have come into your life as you are lucky to have him rule your world. Best wishes to you both & thanks for sharing.

Jake is absolutely adorable. Just seeing his face I would have thought he was a Lhasa or ShihTzu, but not after seeing those long legs!! :-)
He looks like a little snuggle bunny and soooo soft!
Enjoy this little fella for years and years and years.............
Merry Christmas to all.
By the way - why the E-collar? He's okay now, isn't he?

He's a cutie I liked all the pictures. I'm not familiar with this breed, so it was very nice to see him. Love the colors.

I think he's positively adorable! I would love to see him with the traditional lion cut that they are shown with. Do you ever have him clipped that way?
