Abby the Labrador Retriever
Abby's mom says: Abby is a two-year-old Lab, but she is still most definitely a puppy! Abby is now living in a new house in Georgia and has so much room to run. She has has had so many health problems, she is truly a miracle. When she was about six months old, we found out she had severe bilateral hip dysplasia. So she has had surgery on both hips and one of her knees. And if that weren't enough, she injured her tail and had to have most of it removed when she was about a year old. She is so resilient, you wouldn't even know she ever had a problem. Abby is lucky with who her mom is too. Not only was I able to have the financial help to get her the surgeries she needed, but I am also an athletic trainer and was able to give her all the proper rehabilitation she needed to get back to near 100%! She is such a sweetheart and I couldn't imagine my life without her.
Also, it is really great that you found a home with someone with the means, knowledge, and desire to give you all the care you need and deserve. Yay for you!
Incidentally, I would also like to kiss you right on the nose.
