Judging from her size, I expected Bailey to be shy and timid. Boy was I wrong. She was assertive and brave. She knew what she wanted and she wanted to play. I fell in love immediately. My parents wanted her but didn't want to go through raising another puppy. They already had their four year old Shih Tzu, Abby. Wherever she ended up, she needed to stay in the family. I took a risk and took her home with me for a "weekend trial." That weekend we showed her off to all our friends, bonded with her, and fell in love with her. By the end of the weekend we had named her Bailey.
