Bandit is the smartest dog that I have ever known. I got him from a family that kept the puppies penned up in the kitchen walking around in their own feces. However, as soon as we brought him home he naturally took to being let outside. Not once has he gone to the bathroom in the house. He learns tricks like nothing; rolling over, speaking, shaking, balancing treats. He loves the outdoors, especially snow. Bandit could never hurt a fly (although he loves teasing the family cat who doesn't care much for him.) A very playful but loyal personality, always ready to do as asked. His mother was a tricolor Shetland and his father was a pure white collie. He is about mid-size between both of the breeds.
