Blizzard-How do you keep your coat so fluffy and white? How beautiful you are in the photos. I bet you are such a cuddle bug. A big nose kiss and belly rub.

He's so handsome :-) What a sweetie. I have a Sammie mix...and she's adorable...but so highstrung.
Aug 7, 2007 sylvanbliss
My goodness, Blizzard is white! Snow blindness. He's outstandingly striking in all his head shots but I love this one where he's being a dog with his doggie buddy. (also magnificent!)

My husky mix used to dig under the fence to sit on the other side. Glad to hear Blizzard is staying home more. He looks so happy!

Blizzard, you little nut! Why would you keep running away from a good home?? It must be to go brag to all the other doggies about how good you have it. Glad you have learned to stay around a bit better these days! You are too sweet to be getting lost to hurt.
Big huggs from San Diego, where we think you are the best kind of Blizzard to have :)

That is a seriously cute dog!

He's beautiful. I have had both Siberian husky and Samoyed's. They are awesome dogs but a handful to say the least when it comes to having wanderlust! I can only imagine a mix of the 2 :). I hope you have many years to come with this very handsome fellow.

Gorgeous dog, great photos. He looks like a wonderful companion for you and your other dogs! This seems like a great breed mix, other than the wanderlust!

Blizzard is truly a beauty, it was hard to pick just one but i like the way he smiles in this one.LOL I also liked the one with his brother.
Lots of kisses and hugs for all them!

WOW! I have a "husky" that looks almost exactly the same as Blizzard. He is colored differently - however he has the same face, body, ruff...! I'm thinking he is a husky/samoyed mix as well considering the similarties. His name is Titus. He's red and white and weighs in at about 80lbs. How much does Blizzard weigh? What a beautiful boy!
Aug 7, 2007 LucyB
A true dog of the north and an absolute beauty. I see lots of personality there. Both your dogs look happy and healthy. I have a Lab who was an escape artist; luckily she never went too far and always came back, but it drives you nuts! At four years she's pretty much outgrown it to our great relief.
Enjoy your handsome crew and indeed, sent pics of the other family members!
Aug 7, 2007 gend0012
Blizzard is about 50 pounds.

And I am thankful he hasn't managed to run away for quite awhile now. He's almost impossible to catch - he's lightening fast!
One time I caught him, poking his paw through a fence with a St. Bernard on the other side. He tends to like messing with other dogs and then running away quickly. He loves to be chased and play games with other dogs. We have him mostly indoors now. When we do have him outside for an extended period of time, he's in his outdoor kennel, within a fenced-in yard wearing his e-collar that shocks you if you aren't in the safe zone. So far it's working!

My Alaskan Malamute used to try to dig his way out of my back yard. He had a huge hole dug under the fence where he could fit most of his body before I even noticed. He wouldn't have gotten too far because my neighbor's yard is entirely fenced in.

He was a beauty, as all Arctic / Northern dogs are.

He looks so smart!
Looking forward to seeing your other beasts!

What a gorgeous fella! I LOVE this snowy pic! Beautiful. It must be a lot of work keeping his coat so gorgeous...well worth it, though, I'm sure!
Aug 7, 2007 sandi
he is a handsome lad, indeed! I love this pic of him smiling and I love the pic with his friend. I'm glad he is staying put now. I'm sure that he enjoys playing with his friends at home. I hope you have many happy years with him and the other dogs.

Hi Blizzard
Dont' Mom and Dad know you're trying to escape to Alaska? I think you should stay put because they adore you and me, too, for that matter.
You are one beautiful canine and I don't throw compliments around that easily.

Hi, I have a husky-samoyed mix puppy. Blizzard's facial expressions remind me so much of hers! Especially what I call "sad sack" (pictured").

I just want to reach out and give Blizzard a big hug! He's so white and fluffy! He is absolutely beautiful. Your German Shepherd is great too! Blizzard is really striking in every picture--its hard to pick a favorite.

I also have a Huskoyd, his name is Garko and he will be a year old on Feb. 10th I bought him from a breeder in North Carolina. It was a deliberate breeding of two pedigree dogs. Garko has blue eyes and a larger mane than Blizzard but the Sammie smile is the same. He is the smartest most beautiful dog I have ever seen, I had a German Shepherd dog for fourteen years and this dog has filled his absence. We are very lucky to have these exceptional animals in our lives.

Blizzard is breathtaking a truly angelic animal. All the pictures are captivating and beautiful. Your family is truly blessed by all the animals that surround you. XOXO

I love the variety of expression on his face.

This ones my favorite. He looks so majestic, but that gorgeous fluffy fur and that cute face just makes me wanna hug him. : D

Best wishes to you and Blizzard!

I think my dog is Blizzard's daddy! His name is Frosty, take a look at the pics. We got him from West Virginia.

Blizzard is very striking! We have a 12 week old Husky/Samoyed. I think our Buddy will be the spittin-image!! Just beautiful.
Sep 21, 2009 dianne5
my 3-year-old Elsie is also half pure Samoyed half pure Husky. They both have the same muzzle straight on but yours looks a lot more Huskie in face and body. Ours is marked gray, black, white Husky but has a more Samoyed cube-y body, shorter Sammy ears (tho same ear-set) and shorter length of muzzle. She's sweet, vocalizes more like a Huskie than a Sami, will escape with no idea of how to get home (our pure Sami always returns), is an inveterate food theif, kills small animals (our poor kitty!), and loyally sleeps at the bottom of my bed and licks me awake with one lick every morning. incredibly smart and minds better than the Sami. Incredibly good-natured. Loves to play dominance with her pal the Sami but the Sami keeps her in line too. Runs circles around the Sami.

Any ideas how to stop them from climbing fence? Thanks
Dec 18, 2010 Snuffles
We have a Samoyed x Siberian Husky too! Blizzard and our Ice look very similar. I can't work out how to put his picture in my profile (just registered with this site) but I have uploaded a few pics for you to look at, so you can see how similar they are! They are a lovely mix aren't they? Ice was a rescue dog from London and is loving living in Hampshire with us, getting regular walks in the hills and the local racecourse. Enjo y! :-)
