Gus's mom says: We got Gus from a friend whose German shepherd had puppies. He was the only golden one in the litter and he was the only puppy to greet us when we visited. He loves to be around people more than other dogs. He enjoys long walks, sleeping on the couch, and biscuits.

Gus shows his true colors as a Redskins fan! He is loyal and true, even after years and years of rooting for a team that never seems to win. Oh well, that must be because he has all the best of the Golden and the Shepherd in him. Hail to Gus!

my baby, forrest gump, is a g. retriever /chow mix also, & i thought he was the perfect dog. well i do believe gus is mighty close. he is just as wonderful as my gump. give him a hug for me.

Gus is a handsome/beautiful dog. He looks like he has a good friendly nature. He should be very smart with his mix. I love all the pic- the one w/the snow on the nose is cute and the one w/him sitting in the grass is beautiful- but I chose this one because it is so sweet :) I also like the one w/him asleep on his back- but that was already up 2x's :?
