Henry's mom says: We got Henry (and his mother, Tess, a pure Staffordshire bull terrier, who sadly died in March of this year aged about 16 or 17) from a Staffie rescue centre in Devon. Tess was found as a stray a week or so before she gave birth to a litter of seven puppies, all of which were found homes. We were going to get a puppy, but my husband fell in love with Tess and we took her as well. Henry is a quiet but playful and loving dog. He loves his walks and playing chase with his ball in the garden. He lives to a strict time routine and keeps my husband and me in order, as we both work from home. He can always be relied upon to let us know when it's time to get up, feed the chickens, go for a walk, or sit on the sofa to do Countdown. If either of us is ever ill in bed, he will sit with the invalid until they are better. He is a wonderful dog, but we would love to have known what his father was! Probably a spaniel or Labrador judging by his ears.
