You are sure a handsome boy Jack. He looks alot like a dog we found , our Maggie Mae. We were at our bank on a friday and she was running around all the cars at the drive in. So we got her before she got ran over. Put an ad in the paper which no one answered , so we have had Maggie now 6 years.Have many happy years with your baby Jack. And Jack many biscuits and belly rubs.

What a cool-looking dog! I wonder what breeds he is a mixture of? He is certainly very handsome! I love the darker accents around his nose and eyes--very striking! And somehow just looking at his pictures, I know he would be so sweet and good-natured, but also a lot of fun! He makes me happy just looking at him! (Especially that mushroom pic--hee!)

Jack is super georgous!!!!! all the very best of happy times with him, he deserves to be spoilt rotten big woofs and cuddles.

Jack is indeed a LBMC. I do not know why Daily puppy changed his breed. He is not a mix! The Black Mouth Cur has been bred in the south for well over 100 years. they are a hunting dog that corners large game in pack baying the animal until slow humans can arrive. The LBMC may not be recognized by the AKC. This only shows their bias towards a breed that has been created in the backwoods and not by sophisticated snobs in a hunting lodge in Europe. The BMC is a loyal and courageous dog who defends the house and family. They are extremely intelligent and quick to learn. I will never own another breed of dog.

Oh....and even though I love The Daily Puppy, I don't always understand their reasoning. When I submitted my Bella's pix at age 4 months, they chose to use her on the grown up page saying that she "looked too old" for the puppy page!!! Go figure!
