We got Marty from the local humane society about seven years ago when he was two years old. His previous owners had kept him tied to a post in the back yard. Marty arrived at the humane society underweight, covered with flea and tick bites and missing over half of his fur from his scratching himself. He also had a very bad case of worms. When we first saw Marty, he was cowering in the back of his cage, looking very frightened and depressed. Since then, through tender loving care Marty has blossomed into a very handsome dog. He is just the best, most loving, well behaved dog you could ever hope for. He gets many compliments when we take him out for a walk. Marty could not have found a family that loved him more than we do.
