Millie, Millie, Millie, How do I find the ways to tell you how much I love you! First, I am sooo happy to have a Basset on display(there are nver any). I am the proud mom of two. and Millie has the same coloring and EARS like my Bucky! I laugh everyday at either the faces they make or just the things they do. Have many years of joy with her. I wish I could pick two pictures. Her pictures are the doggie theater version of comedy and tragedy. My Australian Shepard/Black Lab also has Bassett Hound thrown in there. You can see it in her eyes and here it in her bark. I absolutely love Bassetts. They are such characters.

There was a TV show in the late 50s called "The People's Choice" that starred Jackie Cooper and a Basset named Cleo. Everytime I see Basset Hound, I am reminded of that TV show, which was hilarious.

Oh Millie - those eyes, those ears - you are gorgeous. Slobber slobber drool drool. A neighbor had one and she was great but you had to keep a towel handy. I couldn't find your baby pictures. I just love Bassetts. So much fun. Mommy needs to clean your eyes for the next pictures.
