Molly, you look like the sweetest girl! These dogs make the most beautiful, sweetest pets... the sort you can really cuddle up to on a cold winter's morning! Molly looks like my dog Mitzi that I had while I was growing up, and Mitzi would climb into bed with me in the morning - get right under my covers! I loved those times so much! Enjoy your sweet girl
Our Pepper is a Beagle/shep/lab mix and could be Molly's sister. Both are sweet-faced girls. We have had the best luck with pound/mutt puppies. Loving and loyal friends. I hope you can enjoy Molly for many more years.
Molly literally took my breath away when I saw her-- my dearest Sinbad angel was with me for 14 years and could be her twin! We were told at the shelter that they thought he was shepherd/husky mix because of the "varigated" coloring on his body (same as Molly's!), but I always said I thought there was some beagle in there! Sinbad crossed the Rainbow Bridge 3 years ago this past Fri. and I miss him every day- seeing Molly seemed like maybe his little way of saying hello to me today!! Thank you so much for sharing her with us and give her a big kiss from me. Many more years of love and health to Molly and her family!!
Molly looks like our Pepper, too! She is beagle and shepherd, as well, and has almost identical coloring. We adopted her from a shelter at 8 weeks when her mom was killed. Now she is 5 yrs. and beautiful. Pound puppies do make such loving addtions to a family!
I only joined this website after I saw this picture! I had to put my beloved dog done about 4 weeks ago. A few people had said that she could be a german shepherd/beagle mix, but I never quite understood it. Out of curiousity, I searched Google for "german shepherd beagle mix" and came upon this page. If I didn't know any better (and after sending this webpage to family and friends, they didn't believe it was my dog!), I would say that the picture of Molly is my dog! I have never seen another dog that even resembles her, but Molly is her spitting image! I was lucky enough to have my dog live for 18 years (I had her for 10 of those years). She was also the sweetest thing ever and loved plush toys! Mutts are the best! I wish you and Molly the best!
Wow! Your Molly is the "spitting image" of my Millie. She is a Shepherd Mix. But I was never quite sure what the mix was although several friends said she has some beagle features. Now I am sure she is a Shepherd Beagle Mix! She is almost 9 years and the gentlist dog imaginable - almost human! She has all the good qualities of humans and NONE of the bad. I was encouraged when I read that Emaderton's beloved dog lived to be 18 years old. I hope that I am fortunate to have my best friend Millie with me for that long. (thank you Emaderton for giving me that hope).
