Oliver's mom says: Two days after my husband and I were married, we got Oliver. He was from a rescue south of Buffalo, and the first puppy we saw. We fell in love with his big brown eyes immediately. He is very quite (we call him the "silent beagle") and very gentle. Oliver is a registered therapy dog--he volunteers every other week at a nursing home, where his favorite activity is to fall asleep on the residents' beds. As you can see, Oliver has the biggest lips of any beagle we have ever met. When ever he falls asleep on the couch we stuff a few kibbles in his lips as a "wake up" snack. Our life would be very quiet without our cute puppy!

AWWWWW Oliver you are soooo cute! Your mums message about you made me smile, a volenteering doggy, well arnt you brilliant! But it sounds like you get lots of love (especially the kibbles in your lips when you sleep- lucky you!) xxxxxxxxx

Hmmm . . . I think there's a teeny bit of bassett lurking in Oliver's jaws!! :-) I love the fact that he's a "stealth beagle," and I bet the nursing home residents are truly charmed the heartened by his snoozing habit . . who wouldn't be!! Lots and lots of scritches for Oliver (biscuits, too, but he doesn't seem to be hurting for those)!!!

Big stick, big heart.....great dog! Oliver, you're one special boy aren't you? Sounds like you hit the puppy lottery jackpot when you got adopted! Not only do you have lots of love at home, you get to go do dog therapy on humans who need it. You're beautiful and you deserve the great life you have! Love from our critter camp here in Fl.

it's great that he has a job. dogs with jobs are really balanced.

Oliver is a winner! He reminds me of one of my dogs...the expression and coloring. Mine is not a Beagle however. Oliver is one handsome boy - love his big lips! :-) The kibble stuffing is too funny.

The things our canine family members put up with just to keep us happy! No doubt a tasty treat followed. Bribery works wonders!
Oliver is lovely. I wanted to get a beagle last year when I decided to add to my pack but fell for a 5 yr old black english cocker who was pictured on a local rescue society web page. No regrets (she's in her normal place - lying by my chair)and maybe one day? Lots of happiness always with Oliver.

Oliver looks like such a gentle, kind soul. And very CUTE!! He's also very special for his work as a therapy dog. Often times, it seems, the residents in nursing homes are so lonley and depressed, that Oliver must seem like an angel from God.

I hope Oliver and his humans have a blessed, long, healthy life together. Thank you for sharing him with us.
