Ra's mom says: I searched for a show-quality pharaoh hound puppy for the longest time with no luck. I was sad and discouraged by my lack of success in finding a litter. However, all my worry and anguish were well worth enduring for the little hound that finally came to me. I was contacted months after my search had begun by a breeder who had accidentally had a litter of four while on vacation. It was a decision that needed to be made quickly, as the pups were already five months old and needed homes. It was such short notice that I did not get a chance to view many pictures of him before he arrived, but the excitement was great as my fiancé and I arrived at the airport to pick him up. I knew when I saw him that he was perfect. He was beautiful and I saw great prospects as a show male. When we unloaded him into the truck I knew that he was meant for me. He may not be the easiest dog to train, but with all the trials he has given and continues to give me I learn more about his wonderful personality and intelligence. He lives to test the world around him, including me, and I wouldn't have it any other way. He is the perfect dog for me; he is my little Prince of Egypt.
