Roscoe was by far the runt of her litter, quite literally half the size of her siblings. Her fur was short and unattractive, and she was clearly underweight with little interest in strangers. She roamed about sniffing at the sidelines while the other puppies romped around us. Despite her appearance, we brought her home. Roscoe has come very far in her time with us, maturing at 13 inches tall. She is gentle, feminine, and incredibly sensitive and in-tune with our emotions; at the same time, she is very protective and hugely devoted to her family. In public, she appears aloof of strangers, a little too wary of children, and adores other Aussies that she meets to pieces. Roscoe caused me to fall in love with the breed.
