Everyone loves someone else's Jack Russell! They are beautiful and lively to look at, have fabulous personalities but are only suited to extremely special people who can refer to them as "dorky" and "freaky" and love them to bits anyway!! Had a visit with a neighbour last week and the conversation was all about doggies. They have a rescue Jack Russell quite by accident. Her line was something like "we didn't even want a dog, never mind a Jack Russell, but now ... let's face it ... he owns the house!" (They've had him for 4 years.) Jacks always make you smile, eh??
By the way, in our previous neighbourhood we had a Jack who would dig to get INTO our yard to play with our mutts, after digging to get OUT of his own yard!! Bless 'em all.
