Sheyenne is a gentle and sweet two-year-old shepherd mixed with a smaller breed. We rescued her and her puppies from a field a while ago. Her pups have been adopted and Sheyenne has learned to trust people more and more by living in a foster home. She's still very shy of people but absolutely loves other dogs, no matter what size. She has learned to walk on leash and looks forward to her walks every day. She's also housebroken as long as she has access to the outside. She would love a home where there are other dogs--maybe a ranch, farm or a home with a big yard she could hang out in during the day. No cats for her though. Sheyenne would also like a fence at least six feet high so she's not tempted to do some exploring. She has lost her foster home because of personal issues in the family and we hate to see her in boarding. Her new owners need to be patient and give her time to adjust, but we always say that is what rescue is all about. Do you have a spot at your place for this sweet, deserving girl?
