Deb-the "smacky mouth" sounds so cute! All I get is a couple of licks on the hair or eyeball and then loud snoring less than a minute later. :D

I have to say, that I read all about the poor lady in the Graduation thread. I never realized how hilarious you all are! As Deb always says: very cheeky.

Madi P-Thank you! The shirt is actually the top part of my wedding dress + I made it myself :)

I looked through this thread and got to see pictures of all of you-I loved it. Such beautiful women with beautiful families..and funny too! 8)

Lauryn, when that thread was started, it was with the best of intentions. :?

It is fun to get to know one another and put a face to the "voice" as I think Margie said. (If I've misquoted, please correct me.)

I missed the Wedding Dress chatter and I know Madi was recently married (and a beautiful bride!) so I'll have go back a bit and catch up. I was too busy being cheeky!

Wow, thats awesome, you are very talented, and brave to cut your wedding dresss, I still like to put mine on from time to time haha, its fun, silly, but fun (makes me feel like a particular episode of Friends - ever seen that show?). What about the overlay? thats beautiful as well, did you make it too?
When did you get married? I love to hear about weddings :)

I too read the Graduation thread, my goodness, yall are a trip!! Seriously funny. I needed the laugh it was getting boring here at work :)

Madi I didn't actually sew the whole dress myself, so I'm not that brave.
I actually gratuated from school in fashion design. I designed and created the pattern for my dress, but had a seamstress (my old sewing teacher from school!) do the sewing and finishing. I did however physically make my bridesmaid dresses. Of COURSE I've seen every episode of Friends! I haven't put on my dress since the wedding, but that's only because I went through the trouble of storing it in a special box meant for keeping it from aging.
The little lacy jacket was Betsey Johnston. I bought it because I loved that it looked vintage.
We were married on August 23rd, 2009. I know I'm not technically a newlywed anymore, but it still feels like it. :)
I could go on and on and on about my wedding, but I won't do that to all you nice people!

When did you get married?

Lauryn, I would love to hear about your wedding, and you are definitely still a newlywed.
We should start a wedding thread in the off topic section.

RJM, I agree with you, on both counts. Lauryn, you are most definitely still a newlywed...trust me darling! I also think a Wedding Thread in Off-Topic is a great idea. I enjoy seeing all of the lovely photos and hearing about everyone's "special" day, even though I'm divorced now. It was still a heck of a party and the promise of my two beautiful boys. 8)

Don't get me started on Mrs. Robinson again!

A wedding thread would be fun. How we met our OH's, our weddings. Yes that would be a fun and different thread. Lauryn you are the newlywed, have at it! We like pictures, we are funny that way.

I haven't posted in here in a long while so I thought I'd post a picture from today. Encase anyone is curious about the huge mud stain on my pants I took a nasty spill hiking today. Ohwell, at least Cara was happy to be muddy.

No cute puppy companion to take pictures yet, but here's a picture of me. Sorry about the sunglasses obscuring my eyes, and the blurriness. It's the most recent photo I have of myself (I don't like cameras much!), and I took it on my iPhone, no less.
