I love that story. I am often floored by my Dalmatian's endless love and devotion for me. If I ever doubt that there is a God I just look at my dog and just know that God made dogs as a gift for man. The best friend a Human can have.

Faith my little Dally, has opened a whole new way, of looking at dog ownership for me.
Her level of devotion, far outstrips that of Joe border collie,my other Dog.

I was reading an article online last night that among other things said that Dalmatians are known as "The spotted shadow" because they are known to follow their masters around the house and lay where they are or lean on them just to be near them. My Dal actually wherever I sit sits next to me and rests her head on my knee. When I moved away from my family I was worried about how my Dal would do in a small one bedroom apartment. I am so blessed that she has been awesome. I feel that she understands she can't bark all day.
