Celina is sooo gorgeous!! Can I have her?!
Just a quick question, sort of a hijacking here...to people who had goldens: celina has very soft fur, the kind you usually see on Goldens..and I think lynners said she was about 5 1/2 months old? Well, Benson is just over 4 months now, and he still has his puppy fur, but the top of his back has a really wirey fur. Is this going to be his adult fur? Just wondering, I was kind of hoping he would be a nice fluffy golden with long hair, although my mum wouldnt appreciate that!

Lynners, hang in there! You are so great to be fostering these pups! They are lucky to have you. I don't know how anyone could not want them!

Lynners, I love the Family Photo! You are a beautiful young lady, and while Mike does look a bit surprised, he is very handsome as well. Celina is gorgeous!!!


Jayme, the wiry hair that is starting down Benson's back is just the puppy fluff falling out and the start of the mature coat. Goldens usually have soft, fluffy feathers most of their lives. While Benson will remain soft and oh so cuddly, he will lose his puppy fluff.

Celina had "troll doll" hair for the longest time. It's only in the past couple weeks where I've noticed her fur has grown into be soft and silky.

That is a lovely photo of the three of you. Is there a family lined up for Celina?

Yes...just have to get the home visit done. Probably next week some time. Lucy will hopefully be going soon as well...her potential family lives a fair distance from the majority of our volunteers, but we're hoping to get the home visit done as soon as possible.

Loved the water pics, can't wait till it warms up here as I know Ice will love it as well. The family pic is great, Celina looks like she has settled into your family. It will hard to see her go I'm sure. Mike is a handsome guy even surprised! You are a beautiful young lady, fluffy...think not.
