Meet Fenway, one of Bailey's closest friends.
Fenway is also Bailey's biggest friend. They have known each other since they were both about 4 months old when they met in puppy class. The first week of class Bailey was TERRIFIED of Fenway, but Fenway wanted nothing more than to be Bailey's best friend. Eventually Bailey warmed up to Fenway, and a friendship was formed. They continued their training to be upstanding doggy citizens in intermediate class together, and they have continued to have play dates often.
There is a great little pet shop downtown where they open up one of their doggy day care rooms on Saturdays for Open Play where you can just bring your dog and let them play inside. Its great on rainy or cold Saturdays when you can't get to a regular dog park. This is the place of many play dates for Bailey and Fenway, one of which happened today.
Here are some pictures of the two of them playing
Despite their massive size difference, they play really well together. Sometimes Fenway forgets his size and will bite a little too hard, but Bailey is quick to let him know that he was too rough and will put big ol' Fenway back in his place.
And here is Fenway in the back of Craig's car. We though it was funny how he was sitting on the side ledge.
Last but not least, while we were at the pet store I saw a bed that I really liked for Bailey. As we were looking at it, the owner of the store (everyone who works there is super nice) came over and told us that it just came off of sale for 25% off but if we wanted it, he would give us the sale price. Bailey's birthday is just under 2 weeks away so we bought it for him for his birthday.
He seems to like it, considering he practically passed out on his as soon as we got home.
