Great photos Kris! Miley has such a gentle look to her, I love her face and eyes . She does look a little leary of Cupcake, but little Cupcake sure likes Miley! I'm so glad to hear you had a good time. What a great idea for a group!
Here are some pictures of Me and Miley's latest meet up. She still growled when she felt cornered. But she did much better than last time. She played with a pug and made a few other friends. We played snoopy says and I lost it for us. I had her shake when Snoopy didn't say. My bad. She was one of the final two in leave it. But the dog next to her sniffed her butt and she forgot she was on a leave it. Oh well. She wasn't allowed to do the fetch game because it was off lease and some of the other doggy parents didn't trust her. She was the only dog that had to stay on leash. But I think we are making progress.
It was the same meetup group, Toby's fun club, but there are 65 member so far. There were 5 dogs at the first meetup. and I think 14 at this one. Toby didn't come, is mom was acting as host and photographer. My friend and her dog Otto were there. But the other 12 dogs were new to Miley.
Next week is Mutts and Mojitos, I'm taking Rocco. But this is a monthly thing that our group got invited to, so far 18 from our group is going and I was talking to one of the parents, at this meetup, that says there are usually over 50 there. So wish me luck. I hope Rocco can chill and enjoy himself.
Kwak, I think we all feel that way! I'm much more comfotable behind the camera, or at least out of the picture . I really like that picture of the 2 of you - its a good one!
Rocco and I attended the Mojitos and Mutts event last week. The Mojitos were yummy and I shared my tacos with Rocco. They had gift bags from two different sponsors with goodies and samples. We bought some raffle tickets and We won!!! We got a furminator, Balls, Frisbee, more samples. Then there was another drawing and we won that too, Got more samples, more balls, another Frisbee and a fox that cries when you shake it and a free grooming and gourmet doggy dinner.
Rocco was OK, not perfect. There were two or three dogs that he didn't like and growled and barked at them. But one of them started it. But Rocco started it with the other two. Oh well out of maybe 35 dogs he only had issues with 3. But I really didn't force him to Mingle much. We did walk around. But I kept him a couple feet away from most of them. Just to be safe.
So here are the pictures of the party. Most are not mine but were posted up on the Meetup site.
This was the loot we won, The stuffed fox and furminator ...
I can't believe I missed all these great pictures over the past few weeks, this was fun to catch up. You have access to some fun activities there, I enjoyed each and every picture. I was looking at Moto to and thought Aussie/BC mix which is a good mix.
The latest meet up looked really nice and to win all that stuff makes the night so much better. Furminators aren't cheap, congrats on that!! The setting is really beautiful, thanks for sharing Kwak.
That looks like so much fun! I wish they had something like that here. Of course we wouldn't have the beautiful setting like you do. I did spot the wonderful tall palm trees in the background, and the water. Beautiful area to get together with all of your friends and dogs.
Congrats on the prize winnings too, thats wonderful!
I liked seeing all of the different breeds, very interesting! I'll bet it was fun seeing the different breeds together and how they reacted. I had to laugh at the photo of the guy with the big dog and the lady with the tiny dog. That was cute!
I really like the photos of you and Rocco at the end! Very nice photos, and you look good in purple! You and Tracy, the purple girls
What fun! Talk about a guy looking like his dog! That picture of that guy looks just like the dog, even to the expression on their faces. LOL Congrats on the win.
Oh what fun!! I would love something like that in my area too! I love the one with the GSD going up to that wee Yorkie!! You and Rocco look wonderful! Gratz on all that loot!
