Avery is doing well, and we can't imagine life without her! She has a great personality, gets so excited when anyone comes over or meets her on the street, but has fear of small children. She is good at sit and wait, but contrary about any other task.

I'm glad to hear things are going well for you and Avery. She sure has long legs. I know you said she was a mini-Aussie, but is she purebred? Her legs seem extra long to me (all the better to run with, my dear!).

She is National Stock Dog registered, with an extensive pedigree provided, but regardless I saw both of her parents - very much aussies. But it doesn't really matter to us since we won't be breeding or showing. We just love her!

Avery is now 18lbs and due for her spaying at the end of September. She is so much fun, always polite (mostly) and extraordinarily well behaved. I consider myself so lucky!

She had a play-date today and I got some cute pictures of her with her friend Lucy.

Avery looks as though she is having so much fun with her friend Lucy. I loved the picture of the two of them with their tongues hanging out, both smiling.

Avery is growing and is such a pretty girl. I'm sure her spaying will go just fine. You'll have to keep us up to date.

Avery is SUPER adorable! Sorry for being slow to welcome you, I'm fairly new on here myself so I'm getting caught up.

You mentioned a few posts ago that you were looking for an activity to satisfy her herding instinct; I've never had an Aussie myself but I know that they're pretty wonderful with agility, so that might be something you want to explore with her. I'm sure there are people around here who have taken their dog to agility class, or know more about it than I do, so that might be something you could look into doing with her. I, too, love that picture over the water bowl of Avery and her friend smiling. It's so adorable when they share!

Hello! I wasnt a member when you originally joined, but its nice to meet you and beautiful Avery now!

She was a precious precious puppy! I love the pictures of her running, and she has the sweetest expression on her face.
She has really grown into a beautiful girl, all covered in snow love the one of her looking up at you from her toy.

One of my dogs we believe she is an Aussie mix and our other male may have a bit in him as well, but they were shelter pups, so theres really no telling

Avery in the snow is beautiful! Her markings are exceptional and her expression is priceless. It's so good to hear from you again, particularly with updated pictures of your lovely young lady.

My goodness, she is growing. I think the first six months of bringing home a puppy seem to last forever and then suddenly we blink, and they are turning a year old. It won't be long now sweet Avery.
