Tahsis is a complete dork. This morning she thought it would be appropriate to stand at the top of the stairs and clobber Beamer on the head as she came up them. Needless to say, Beamer told her where to go.
They ARE getting more comfortable around eachother, though. Tahsis wouldn't even think of trying to initiate play before. She just needs to learn how to do it in an appropriate manner. Beamer is definitely settling. She's not panting or drinking nearly as much, her appetite is slowly coming around, she's resting more comfortable (flat out on her side instead of curled in a ball), and she even pounced on a bone before settling down to chew on it!
I had to mow the lawn yesterday, and while she avoided, she wasn't terribly upset by the loud noisy thing (or the sweaty noisy thing trying to push the mower through holes in the ground).
She's still amazing in the crate, once she's in there. She isn't very food motivated with the treats I currently have...so I'm having to lead her in. This morning she was being a bit of a brat and running away from me, but we'll get there.
