Sure, Lynners. She was in the Chattooga shelter in Summerville, GA. Here's a link to some info about the event: http://www.animalrescueflights.org/geor ... ttooga.htm - Have you done any work with them? I'd love to hear about it if you have! I always wish Sookie could talk, for just 5 minutes, and give me her full story since we know so little about the first 6 months of her life. I regularly ask her, "Sookie, where's your tail? Who cut your tail?" and she gives me that adorable puppy head tilt, but alas, no answers haha.

And thank you for the welcome, RJM - I've seen a couple of your videos of Ruby & Kessler and they are such an adorable pair. A friend of mine has a shepherd mix who is a dead ringer for your Ruby!

Thanks! I just saw a Ruby look-a-like on an Animal Cops episode, she was a dead ringer...mange and all!

Don't you wish we knew where they came from? I'm curious, but then I don't think I really want to know either.
At least they have great homes now, tail or no tail!

Absolutely, and I think Sookie's little stump gives her great character :D At least she doesn't knock things over with one of those big, fat labby tails, though I will admit I miss hearing the thump-thump-thump of a wagging tail! She does a full-body wag, though, so no complaints over here!

What a wonderful, wonderful event!

It isn't the same facility, however. We took dogs from Floyd County Pound in Rome, GA. They euthanize very, very frequently...(sometimes twice a week...)
