Introducing Yara!

Well, I guess after two years it's about time I finally post a hello here since Yara's today's featured "grown up" puppy and all.

I'm Cyndy and I'm really not a fan of these introduction things because I can never think of interesting things to say. Anyway, I work in disability services and I'm currently pursing a master's in Rehabilitation Teaching (very slowly, I might add). I'm partnered with the aforementioned Yara, who is my guide dog and resident manager (she's big on "supervising" anything going on, if you catch my drift). She's one of many lovely dogs who I've had the wonderful pleasure of sharing my life with, and the second of those to be in the lofty ranks of working as my guide dog.

More babblings and such on me and my dogs (along with many a photograph) can be found on my website. And speaking of, I'll go find one to post in the photo thread. (I suck at biographies, but I am very good at following directions, see?)

snifferspommom, actually I don't know how to fix that signature. I don't even remember making it. But I just moved from Albany. I grew up split between there and Columbia County as a kid. I'm now just outside of the city itself.
