Thanks everyone, Sadie is grinning from ear to ear :D

We were in the scary wheelbarrow neighborhood again tonight, but that wheelbarrow tarp thing has up and ran away! All was peaceful in that quiet neighborhood again. 8)

Kris is it an Easy Walker harness. I'm smiling, well ok laughing because I think I know why you asked. Maybe??
Yup, I have it on her backwards  . The clip you hook the leash onto is supposed to be at her chest, but it just didn't work on her at all. So, heh heh, I just switched it around so that the clip was at her back and it has worked perfectly. Its supposed to be designed to keep them from pulling if I remember right. Thats not why I bought that one though, it was the only heavy duty one I could find that I really liked. I am 100% happy with that harness.

Linda, you are such a rebel, using a harness in a manner for which it was not intended!

It's a good thing that wheelbarrow knew what was good for it and up and left. Sadie might have had to guard you from it again rather than just enjoy her walk.

I'm enjoying the Sadie Stories.

LOL, Linda...great minds think alike! The reason I asked was because that is how I put the easy walk on Charlie and Izzy, backwards! I am constantly corrected, but like you I didn't think it worked all that great. In fact, I think it only encouraged Charlie to pull! It also works best that way with the safety "jackets" I bought them.

Thanks!! I'm glad everyone likes the pink on her 8) . You would be surprised how many people still ask me is its a boy or a girl though, even with all of that pink!!! I really like red against her black but she really looks like a boy then, so bright pink it is. She's a girly girl :D

Sadie went back to the vet today and her ears are clear now! Yay!!! They said they look really good the medicine did exactly what it was supposed to. They showed us how to clean her ears with the solution too and it looks pretty easy. It helps too that Sadie sits pretty still, I think it feels good to her. They did have to give her another antibiotic shot, she still has some of the red rashy stuff going on in one area. They said its actually a skin infection, but it does look much better than before. The shot lasts 14 days and the vet said on some dogs they need it for 21 days. But she's good to go now. She goes back Oct 4th for her yearly shots, I think she's had enough exams lately....lol!!!

LOL...Kris, I didn't realize that you too were a rebel! :D

Linda, I'm glad I made you smile. I thought you would like that one. I'm glad to hear that Sadie's ears are improving, as is her rash. The poor dear has been poked and prodded with just one more exam to go.

I also like the red on Sadie and I think it's strange that people think she's a boy. Mind you, I often find that people tend to assume the sex of another dog is the same as their own initially, or if they are only familiar with one sex. Sadie looks gorgeous in hot pink, so why not?!

LOL Linda, That's the same reason I put Ruby in pink, and people still think she's a boy. :?
I think Sadie definitely looks like a girl in her pretty princess pink accessories.

That's the same Easy Walker harness Ruby had. I didn't care for it, so I gave it to her cousin Polly Ester.
I was only a part-time rebel, as we used it either way.

I'm happy to hear her ears are all cleared up.

It's okay. Everyone think's Bailey is a girl :( (and a Bichon but we won't get into that again :P)

Looking good, Sadie!

Kristen, ever since you mentioned that people think Bailey is a Bichon, I have seen more pictures of Bichons who are not "show" groomed that resemble Bailey. I think it's a compliment and/or a way for someone to start a conversation.

RJM, does anyone ever think that Kessler is a girl? He looks very masculine to me, but then Ruby looks feminine to me. I'm just curious.

Yay! It's good to hear that Sadie ears are on the mend. LOL...she wears pink and some still have to ask.

Kessler looks like a boy to me as well. Most people assume Allie is a girl, now that Ice is lifting his leg that mystery clears up his sex.

Sadie is lovely in pink! Sookie's collar is pink, but people always think she's a boy. She's not very ladylike, so I think that's probably the reasonn

Deb, I also think Kessler looks masculine.
No one has ever questioned his gender and he doesn't even lift his leg yet.
