Thanks! Sadie did love it. She was worn out when we got back. She is so much fun to watch when its a new place.
EVERYTHING catches her attention! We will be going back to those trails a lot.

We've had lots of rain here too. Many places are flooded. There was a spot in the trail that was actually flooded over, I took a photo but didn't post it.

Just had to share what the little rascal did tonight! We don't dare leave dishtowels laying on the counter. This is what happens. Then for her its "GAME ON!!!"

Last week Sadie and I spent one evening on the deck just relaxing. I had my camera out just trying different setting, manual focus, auto focus and whatever else I could think of. It was a nice relaxing evening. I even ended up with a few good and fun photos

I love her mouth in this one! She got so engrossed in looking at something on the other side of the deck she turned around in an almost panic because I was too quiet. I think she thought I was gone!

Linda, I love that one of Sadie's mouth. I always enjoy a good "lip shot" which Henry provides regularly. Sadie also looked gorgeous just smelling the wind, and her tail is glorious!

Mr. Rascal has also stolen my heart. He looks like a lovely, old boy. I love his eyes and his outrageous fur coat! I know he has a sense of humour and would be a wonderful BFF to Sadie.

I'll have to get another photo of Rascal tomorrow when I'm out with the camera. He got shaved today! He looked like he was smiling and so much more comfortable after the heat we had for a few days. They have him shaved every summer because that coat of his is unbearable in the heat.

Linda, I'm sure Rascal enjoys losing the weight of that coat. Goldens seem to pack on the fur as they age. I can imagine Rascal being a good friend to Sadie. I think he would be the cool headed one of the two, given their ages and breed types, but also willing to start mischief and play. I can see how Sadie would be smitten with him, and he with her.

I can't wait to see the new pictures of them both. It's been rather muggy here as well, and I've noticed Henry's coat is suddenly starting to curl. It has been pin straight and it has started curling around his neck and shoulders. It's time both of my boys were groomed properly and more photos were posted.

Linda, Sadie's coat looks fabulous! She's so shiny and it looks like all her patches have grown in.

What a silly girl with the dish towel. Mine are like that with socks, they are fair game...LOL!

I took Rascal the last treat in our house! I guess from now on he will get cheese from me like Sadie does . He won't care, he likes everything! I ran back in the house to get the camera and get a few photos of the newly shaved Mr. Rascal!

He is outside now just prancing around like he feels so good without all of that heavy winter coat on him!

Linda, you are such a darling!!!! I was "ohhhh'ing and awwww'ing" over Rascal's sweet, sweet face, and then enjoyed a lovely smile that his bushy tail is still intact, when I saw in large, bold letters "Here ya go, Deb!". You have put such a huge smile on my face. A million thank you's.

Rascal has that Golden "look of love" in his eyes, and he knows you have something special for him. I always think one day I'll have another Golden...we'll see. It won't be this year, or next!

Awwww....Rascal is so adorable! He looks so amicable and mellow. Lots of dogs seem so embarrassed after getting shaved, but Rascal knows he is "stylin'!!!

I just loved catching up on your thread, Sadie is such a beauty and like you I too love her tail. Rascal does look so sweet, his tail is so pretty to!

Poor Sadie all that grass to roll and dang allergies! She does look really good. The kitchen towel....now that is too funny.

Thanks everyone! Rascal is a cute rascally guy isn't he!!

I took Sadie to the dog park yesterday evening. We hadn't been there for a few weeks because its been so rainy.
They put sod in the muddy area in the middle!!! I was so happy . Its still fenced off with orange plastic fencing, but I'm sure will be open to the dogs in a few weeks.

There were different dogs there this time, and a little bitty one that Sadie really liked. I never could get a photo of that one though! I only had my phone with me, I hadn't planned on taking photos, but after seeing the dogs I couldn't resist.

Here are just a few.

The white poodle had the funniest bark! Everyone was commenting on it.





Sadie is watching another dog take a swim in the pond next to the dog park. She got so excited





And since its the end of May, sometime around this time of the year, three years ago our baby girl was born

She's enjoying her new birthday toy! (And it cleans her teeth, but don't tell her that!)
