I couldn't agree with you more! 8)

It's been so warm here today, I am almost giddy with excitement. For my American friends, it was still 54F at 8:00 p.m. this evening. That is balmy!

I'm sure the mud hole will dry up quickly if there is little rain and some nice winds. It looks like a wonderful spot.

Sadie looks beautiful running carefree and having a blast! Great action shots!

I love hearing about the good side of dog parks!
I long to go to one here, but there are a lot of regulations and Chance has to be fixed first, and we are on the waiting list.

Sadie does look pretty along side the golden (?) they make a cute pair :) I bet she makes all kinds of friends.
heres hoping for more nice warm weather for yall!

We had some rain today so what dried out is now wet again!

Madi, the dogs here have to be spayed and neutered also. Thats a lot of interest in the park there to be on a waiting list!

Deb we were in the low 70's yesterday. I was giddy too

Hello Linda and Sadie! Hello to the photographer as well. How fun for everyone to meet other dogs and owners and see Sadie run. She had to be the fastest one there! Good pictures as always, yes true dog owners braving the cold and you are dressed just perfect.

70's make me giddy to! Open the windows and turn on the music, that's me.

We made a short, very cold trip to the dog park today. Sadie seemed to have pent up energy, so off we went!
Today was all BIG dogs so Sadie wasn't quite as comfortable this time. The big dogs have LOTS of energy and she just doesn't quite understand what they are doing. She really likes the medium to smaller dogs. For a border collie mix, she does like to run, but is a very mellow girl for the most part.

I took the first 4 photos earlier last week when we were having warm weather, the last one is from today. All taken with my phone so not the best quality, but you'll get the jist 8)

This little girl was so cute. I tried to get a good side shot of her, but she just wasn't cooperating

This is one of the calmer large dogs. Sadie was just fine with this one.

This girl is named Lady. She is a beauty! She was a little shy like Sadie, so her owner kept her in the back part of the park where she could run by herself. I do that with Sadie a lot.

Image

Sadie up on one of the wooden benches, surveying all that was around her. She takes it ALL in

This one was taken today. This is Cody and Sadie. Cody's owner calls Sadie his look alike. So many people today who know Cody kept coming up to Sadie saying his name. When they would finally figure out it wasn't him, they would say that she looked just like him with a haircut! He is silky soft, and very VERY rambunctious. His owner said he is BC and shepherd mix, and who know what else in there!

One other thing, I noticed today is that Sadie looks very sway back compared to the other dogs. I wonder if its because she is so long in the body? Or could it be one of the breeds mixed in there? You can see it in the last photo.

Loved the photos Linda :) Sadie does look like she is taking it all in in that photo and I can see why people might mistake Sadie for Cody with a haircut.

Linda, Sadie and Cody look as though they could be related. The first thing I noticed is how both of them are carrying their heads in the same manner when they are walking, like stalking prey almost as someone else mentioned.

As far as Sadie having a sway back, I think much like my Sally, she is a bit longer in the body than most and that's why it may look that way from certain angels. Sadie is happy and fit, so no worries.

I did love the one of her on the bench taking it all in! She is such a pretty girl.

Thanks guys! I laugh every time I look at that last photo. They do look like they're both stalking prey don't they

Deb, thanks for telling me about Sally. I don't always notice the sway back, but sometimes its just really obvious. She is a healthy happy girl and has no problems running or jumping. Hopefully as she gets older it won't be a problem for her, she is sooooo long in the body!

Linda, Sally never had any trouble at all with her back, and she lived to be 13. Bless her heart, she was a really poor example of the breed in terms of confirmation, but she was such a darling, silly, goofy, girl. "Silly Sally" indeed.

Sadie is no where near the sway back that Sally was. At least Sadie's leg length matches that of her body, unlike Sally who, like me, was more undertall than overweight.

I do believe the sway gives her grace and speed. I too noticed they were walking alike, very nice pictures. Love the area, it will be beautiful when the leaves finally come back. The first one reminds me of Mina.

LOL Deb, that's me too! Undertall....

Beautiful pictures! Sadie looks happy and healthy to me . Somedogs just have what looks like a sway back but I think it so they can stalk there prey better. You know better to sneak up on things
