Sadie is beautiful! She looks like she's very happy on her walk  I'd love to experience the sound of the rustling corn! The only rustling I hear here (heh heh, here here) is the rustling of dropped litter on the concrete pavements......not so nice -__-

Deb, she does look like she's smiling doesn't she

I'll have to see if Del can get a video of her reaction sometime when she's asked if she wants to go to the park. I swear she looks like she's doing flips she's so happy!

Brenda, that park is so nice! They're adding new things all the time too. I've been taking photos because I know by next summer it will look different as fast as they're developing it. They've planted trees everywhere, and they're the kind that turn beautiful in the fall.

Gaby, if the wind blows again like it was the other day I will make sure I take my camera to get a video so you can see and hear the rustling corn

Sadie says thanks for the compliments!

Whoa! It's been a while since I posted in here

Gaby I did get a video of the wind blowing in the corn, but all you can hear is the wind hitting the camera

Sadie had a great Christmas! She loved her presents and now has a new favorite toy
Although, every night she brings me a new one to play with for that night. So maybe its a few new favorites!

Christmas Eve and she kept sticking her nose in the packages. She just KNEW some of those were hers

One of her first presents, I like the way this one turned out. It shows how intense she can be.

We got brave and got her stuffed toys again. She's already torn a wing off of this poor duck. It's called a "tough" toy though so I don't think she'll tear into the main body. At least not right away!
She's opening her ball now. Yes she opened her own presents this year 8)

Image

And last but not least, this is now her favorite toy. Another "tough" toy, and so far its still in one piece.

Sadie hopes you all had a wonderful Christmas, and so do I ♥

Sadie looks like a happy, little girl on Christmas Day! How sweet of you to wrap several presents for her to open. I like those "Tough Toys". I've seen them before, and wondered how truly "tough" they would be. :D Sadie has already dismembered part of the Goose (or Duck). Those pictures are terrific.

I can tell you've had a lovely Christmas Day, and holiday season. Wishing you and yours the very best in the New Year.

Looks like Santa was very good to Sadie and the wrapping paper is always an extra toy to enjoy. My two can destroy those tough toys in a matter of minutes. I stay on the lookout for "unstuffed" stuff.

Merry Christmas sweet Sadie! What fun toys you got on Christmas day. We had a quiet one, so did Allie and Ice.

Someone must have been a very good girl all year. Santa was generous. Sadie looks a very happy girl.

She was a good girl

Oh Sher, I hope these toys last for a little while  . I debated before I bought them, but got a good price at Tractor Supply so it won't be a big loss if she does tear them up. She still hasn't gotten the goose back yet after tearing the wing off. We'll try again in a few days!

Deb you are correct, it is a goose! I'm not sure why I said duck

Kian, Allie and Ice are more than welcome to come join Miss Sadie anytime

Is it possible for a dog to become more and more loving? This girl continually does. She warms my heart daily.

Sadie, You deserve all those presents, what a good girl!

Linda, Kessler's favorite part is the paper, he had a stash of it on the end of the sofa, after all the gifts were opened.

 :D That's funny! Did Gizzie hide some in his stash under the bed too?

I took one photo, but just checked and it isn't one I posted. In the background you can see all of the "pieces" of wrapping paper where Sadie stole it from our packages and shredded it. Who needs toys!!

Linda, I think the short answer is YES! The unconditional love given by a dog to its human is one of the most beautiful things this life has to offer.

She is actually coming up to me and wrapping me up in a hug now. She was always affectionate, but she's become quite the love bug

Today I started weaning her over to A Taste of the Wild, salmon and sweet potato. It's the only one that didn't have anything in it that she is allergic to. I tried a little of the canned in her prescription Hills and she had no reaction. The Hills has gone up to $89.00 for a 27 lb bag. That's just ridiculous. The Taste of the Wild is probably much better for her and half the cost for a 30 lb bag. She couldn't wait to get her nose poked in her food dish tonight with the new kibble mixed in!
