My name's Rascal. Although I am not quite a puppy anymore I can still give my owners a run for their money when I steal something that I should not have or feel like visiting my neighbor puppy's yards without permission. I started out at maybe 6 lbs which was awful large for a yorkie pup, so my parents realized I must be some kind of mutt, but a very loveable one. I have always been mischievous and got the name Rascal for my antics such as jumping over fences, taking socks, and chewing on the kitchen island. I am sort of a bad boy but I'm very loyal and needy when it comes to my masters. I love to cuddle and watch movies with them or listen to my mommy read bed time stories. My fur is silky soft and I'm very warm in the winter time and need haircuts in the hot St. Louis summers.
I was diagnosed with Cushing's disease five months ago and am getting surgery in the next month for my rear legs which have torn ligaments and have started to develop arthritis. This makes it hard for me to go on my favorite walks or play like I used to. It's a lot more comfortable laying around underneath the table. The doctors say everything else is healthy, but any support you have for my owners or advice, please share! And please become my friend!
