Hi, I joined the site a few days ago. My 2 guys are Presley and Siku. Presley is a 2y/o high functioning disabled border collie, she was "grown up" of the day today (Nov. 9). You can read her story on the page but she took the road less traveled and has been an inspiration to everyone who has crossed paths with her. Siku is my 5y/o American eskimo mix, he was semi feral when he came into my life, it took him about 3 weeks to come out from under my bed. He ignored chicken, beef, ham everything. About the time I was throwing my arms up in the air, I discovered his weakness.... French Fries. He's come a long ways, his favorite things in life besides me includes other dogs and scratches on the forehead from anyone who is able to make it past Presley. Siku was the welcoming party and big brother to the 25 foster who came through my house before we all came out to Colorado.
About me, I am a vet tech student and I am currently associated with Western Border Collie Rescue. Before coming out to Colorado, I was an emergency medical technician and very active in Border Collie Rescue of Northern California.
