Hello Everyone -

I just wanted to introduce myself as the new Daily Puppy Community Manager. DP Admin will still be around, but please don't hesitate to contact me with any questions or concerns. Can't wait to <virtually> meet all of you

ABOUT MY DOG:
Coco Waffles is a Husky-German Shepherd mix who was found roaming the streets of Los Angeles by the LAPD, which we later adopted this past March from our local shelter. She just turned 2 this past October and she is a very playful dog! She goes to doggy daycare every weekday while her parents are at work to burn off some of that exuberant energy, but she is never fully satisfied and still has a ton energy when she arrives back home where she will grab her frisbee or tennis ball to play a quick game of fetch before kibble time! On the weekends, we rotate between several dog parks, hikes or beaches and we hope by Sunday evening she is exhausted.

Her name is a combination of my favorite designer: Coco Chanel and my favorite breakfast item, waffles! It always gives everyone a good chuckle

Please share your dog naming story/strategy if you wish! I'm all ears.

Welcome to the DP! I like how you came up with Coco Waffles name

I'll share Sadie's name with you. She was known as Gracie at the shelter and we liked that name, but also liked Sadie.
So to include both of them her name is Sadie Grace!

Looking forward to getting to know you, Linda and Sadie in Indiana.

Interesting that Coco Waffles was found roaming around Los Angles,...luckily the LAPD took her in to costody,..and nice to read you took her into your family

My two dogs Hudson and Molly,..well Hudson is so named due to being owned by staff in our local Hudson Bay Hotel,..and Molly is named after "The Molly Maguires Film",..she was born while it was being shown, .

Most of us use first names and I should have included mine as Linda did. I'm Deborah (or Deb, never Debbie!).

As you'll see, we do become quite familiar with one another and it makes it easier to use real names or abbreviations.
