Hello from Seattle, WA!

Hi there! My name is Chandra and I'm 23 and from Seattle, WA. I've been a member of the site for awhile, but I haven't been on the forums here before. I'm a proud owner of a beautiful 1 1/2 yr old Anatolian Shepherd named Bella. My family also has a Havanese/Japanese Chin mix named Rosey who is pictured on my profile as well. I'm a recent graduate from Central Washington University and I got my BA in Critical Film Studies. My first passion is music so I'm hoping to get a degree in Music Business as well.

A little more about Bella, I found her on a petfinder listing when she was only about 2mo old. The family that rescued/fostered her found her when she was even younger and thought she was a Keeshond/Australian Shepherd mix. They found Bella wandering around a hopps field in Prosser, WA. My mom and I inquired about her and drove the next day many many hours to go see her and as soon as I saw her, I couldn't pass her up We left our house at about 10am and didn't get back home until 2am!

Bella has definitely grown into a big beautiful dog that loves to play and snuggle!

Thank you both! I thought it was about time I started posting on the forum Thanks Kian for the congrats for graduating! It took me 5 years but it was worth it. Now to just find a job....

I totally just want to crawl through my computer screen and hug Bella. I bet she gives the best cuddles! She went from being such an adorable puppy to such a beautiful dog.

Chandra, I must say that I was awestruck when I first saw Bella's pictures. She is so beautiful! What a lovely, gorgeous girl she is. I loved the photo of her in the bed, as well as the one of her as a pup, and of course the one in the garden, as well as with your Aunt.

Kristen, Bella really does give the best cuddles. She's so cute, in the morning, she'll stretch and put her nose on the side of my bed, then she just jumps up and sits next to me, eventually leaning/falling over and just lays there stretched across me. I guess Anatolian's are known for their "Anatolian Lean" - it's their way of showing affection. She also likes to hog the bed (as pictured) and has laid like that for hours before with me on lazy weekend mornings.

Snifferspommom, Bella is extremely soft! Her whole body is soft and fluffy, then she has a random patch of fur that is more Golden Retriever texture right on her bum. My family always jokes about how with all the hair we brush out of her we could make a sweater or something because it's so soft and warm

Also thanks again for the graduation congrats (Deborah)! I just wish it was easier to obtain a job! I feel pretty lucky to have such a beautiful dog as well.
