New to this =)

Hi Everyone!

I'm Corine and I'm new to Daily Puppy! I am a huge dog lover (well, animal lover, really - I have two horses, two turtles, two doggies, and a cat! I know, I know, it's a zoo - but trust me, I'm no animal hoarder, haha! Am hoping to eventually save up enough money to move upstate and buy a nice lot of land to build my dream farm...) and have just welcomed a new addition, little miss Penny, to my family.

Unfortunately, also recently, I had to put my sweet baby Toby to sleep. It was absolutely horrible and I second guess my decision every single day. I can't even imagine a dog loving me like Toby did. Will this feeling ever go away? He's the first pet I've ever had and the first I've ever lost --- I really just don't know how to cope. Even though I have Miss Penny now, I can't help but feel like she'll never love me like Toby did.

My other baby is Chance. He's a really wonderful, energetic mixed breed who loves everyone he meets but is still very protective of his "people" when it comes to a suspicious stranger He loves to get into trouble but I wouldn't trade him for the world.

The other pets I have include two red-eared sliders, Cecil & Shelby, my cat, Lily, and my wonderful horses, Kipper and Shadow.

I am so excited to start meeting new people and pets on here! I guess that's all, really -- I'm not quite sure how these intro posts are supposed to go, but can't wait to meet you all!

Your dogs look adorable. I'm sure you miss Toby terribly. Unfortunately, most of us here understand and know only too well how hard it is to lose a beloved friend. I'm sure in time both Penny and Chance will fill the void that is there and help your heart grow even bigger.

Welcome, from Sniffers and his mom in America's Dairyland! I have two turtles too! They are musk turtles, Meeky and Tuffy. Had them for about 14 years now. Your pups are beautiful!

Toby is your new angel now, watching you from the rainbow bridge...

Hi Corine, Penny and Chance.
Corine, I am so sorry for your loss of Toby, many of us have been through that. You can never replace Toby, but each one of your pets loves you in their own special way.
