Emmy is our latest edition. I found her at an animal shelter when I just starting looking for a new companion this summer. Something about her just said "take me home". I have never been real into the pug type faces either. Her serious underbite is a good example of why some breeds just shouldn't be intentionally mixed. She would be a Carlin Pinscher. We will never know the real reason she landed in the shelter but it wasn't her personality! She a wonderful, sweet girl!

Nova is the last of our original gang. She's 9 years old. We think she's part border collie and perhaps some sort of northern breed based on the adult dogs in the area at the time. My husband found her underneath an old car beside his dad's barn. There are no homes she could have come from within a mile or two of that barn. On the very rare occasion that she gets out of the house, she tries to herd cars.

We lost Jenna suddenly in June....she was my shadow. I miss her so much.
