Hi friends! My name is Apollo. I am a 11 week old Lab/pit. I am not sure who my mommy and daddy are because I was found at only 4 weeks old. I found a new mom and dad though. They are great parents. I have a lot of toys to chew and play with. A big yard thats fenced in so I can't get loose. i do honestly chew on my mommies slippers when she isn't looking. I am almost potty trained. I am still young but I am trying. I sleep on a big bed in in my big kennel at night followed by mommies teddy bear. I love life so far and I am having so much fun. I get tired a lot because of all the exercise I get. I found a forever home and compassionate people. My breed sometimes get bad names, but I will not be like that because i know I will be a good boy and not be fought or breed. I will be going to see my vet at 7months old to get neutered and I am getting my shots currently too. I am so HAPPY! I am sometimes stubborn. When I go potty outside I have to have mommy or daddy by me. I guess maybe because it is sooooo cold. I am glad to see new freinds here and some look just like me. WOW! Hello and welcome to DP to Apollo and his new owners. Kudos on his schedule which includes neutering. It blesses my heart whenever I hear a new pet owner who plans for this. Apollo is very lucky indeed to have found, what sounds like, a very good and happy home and he is adorable.
Again, a big warm welcome from Sher and the boys, Prince and Coby in snowy NC, USA.

Thank you. He in fact does have a great home. Its the first dog I have owned since I was little. I can't see how people can just toss the animals out or not even care for them the way they deserve. I wish I knew who it was because they need to be thrown out. lol. He does exceptionally well and I am pleased at his behavior....well...so far. LOL. We have two cats as well. Unfortunelty the shelter we got the one from they neutured him to early and now we are having issues with him. But I beleive in getting them fixed. We dont mean to deprive there natural instinct to mate, however, the way things are these days and the shelters it is just not natural to let them go and not get done. Unless they are for show of course, and breed for show. My mother in law breeds and shows Shih Tzu's. But for the ones who have no clue what they are doing and just let these poor guys mate and not take care of them Properly. We love animals very much.

Anyway enough barking for now...lol Apollo is so sweet and being part pit, just proves not all pits are bad. It is all how they are raised. He loves the attention and my slippers...so i don't know if I should give in and let him have them and go buy new ones and put them up, or just go buy him a pair for himself. I think this will teach him though it is ok to chew on slippers, or shoes for that matter. Hmmmm.....We treat him as a kid....spoiled but yet gets disclipined to. ( NO not hitting, yelling or being mean. That doesn't help any when you do this. We are curious as to how he will be when he gets older. He is loved so much.

Well, I have barked enough for now.....its time to walk apollo...chow chow for now
