They show patience in waiting to eat the treat in front of them in different ways.
(Yes, I know, more pictures....if you haven't noticed by now I tend to take A LOT of pictures)

Remi looks away and has her head as far away as possible from the treat until you tell her she can have it.
Image

Monster gets as close as possible and stares it down and he doesn't even attempt to take it when you tell him he can have it. You have to pick it up and hand it to him, which I don't think is a bad thing at all.
Image

Give. Another. Treat. Now.
Image
Monster really LOVES the Cheeseburger cookie treats I made.

The thing on Sir Monsters head is a toy. He was playing with me with it but then randomly stopped....so I draped it over his head and he just sat there perfectly still staring at me. Which we all know means "take my picture!!"

I've been playing around with doodling cartoon versions of "Pug Boy" and I can't seem to get it right. I'm not sure I'm cut out for cartoons....maybe it will just take some time to get the feeling of cartoon doggies.
There will be at least one The Adventures of Pug Boy and Remington, because I am determined. It just may be a total fail.

I love the photo of Monster waiting for his treat as well. So darn cute. Remi is such a good patience girl as well!

LOL! Monster is too precious! He is a very good boy to wait that patiently, knowing how much he loves his "f-o-o-d".

Henry understands way more of our conversations than we would like sometimes as well.

Remi is also a good girl. I guess if she pretends the biscuit isn't there, it is less torture having to wait for it.

You have done well with those two! Great photos, you can see the the focused intensity that both of them have.
 Both the looking away and the straight on staring.

Very cute!!

Remi watching Monster running around outside.(I should say running to go potty quick and then run right back in)

Remi has soooo much extra skin around her neck, her collar fits her prefect when she's laying down but when she stands/sits up it's a tad to big. It's also as tight as it can go. sigh.

oh and look what I found....this was the night before the surgery when I was getting her used to the cone.
She looks like a pretty flower. :)
(you can't see it but the cone was catching A LOT of drool because she was waiting for her treat.)

Those are some wistful looks on their faces in the window photos. I think Remi wants to be out there too!

My dogs always looked funny in their cones, but you're right Remi looks like a pretty flower! Her eyes are shining!

So today we celebrated Remi's 1st birthday by bringing her to some pet places.

Let's just say Remi had a BLAST. I took some pictures of her in the car but none in the actual stores because I honestly didn't think to.

The first store we went to we go to all the time (and it's my favorite) there's always the same people working so it feels like a 'home' there. She got many treats there, they had her sample some new organic yogurt treats they recently got. She was more interested in smelling every item in the store or getting attention from people than getting treats. We told Remi she can pick whatever she wanted in the store.....she wanted to take the kitty home. We ended up not getting anything there(since they recently relocated they don't have everything up).
So off the the local pet store. There she wanted to get on of those horse balls. Which may not be a bad toy for her.....However, I took her to the bone isle and had her smell every one of them and she grabbed one and started walking away. We paid for it and then she carried it to the car, so very proud of herself.

She LOVES to stick her head out the window. Don't worry I was holding on to her, not like I had a choice she was sitting in my lap. She always wants the window that someone is sitting by, maybe she's scared she'll fall out. :?

Now this is what I call a happy dog.

I'm going to make her carrot puppycakes later on today...I haven't been feeling up to baking recently.

Remi looks SO happy celebrating her 1st Birthday. I just loved the pictures of her in the car, and I don't think I need to say which ones.

Elliot loved the one of her bottom teeth showing, with her whiskers.

I'm sure she was spoiled rotten, as she should be. Don't worry about baking if you aren't into it.

The end of the day pictures make me sleepy, she looks so peaceful. Thanks for sharing her special day with us.

Remi has a wonderful smile, but that one of Monster staring down the cookie is just the best! It belongs in a magazine or something! Well done.

I haven't seen her that happy in a long time.

We should start taking her out more often again so she doesn't freak out with excitement every time she's going somewhere. It made me feel like I don't socialize her enough or bring her anywhere, ever!
The two months of gone by fast it feels like we just went to get her stitches out!

Remi does have a big long tongue it makes for excellent kisses, which she never slacks on.
