Remi & Monster (4.26 It's been so long, New Pictures!)

To think I was almost not going to post the ones of Monster! I don't think he ever takes a bad picture.

I'm glad you all enjoy my pictures of my wonderful furries! Some times I think I just take too many.

Yesterday Remi and I walked over to her friend Brandey's house to play. When we were walking up to the house Brandeys mommy was outside doing yard things and Bradney was inside. Remi greeted her with tail wags and kisses but the whole time her eyes were wondering looking for Brandey. So while we were waiting for her to bring Brandey out(they have an invisible fence so she had to get the proper collar on her) I took Remi in the back and let her off leash and she ran around sniffing every toy and just everything trying to track Brandey down!
Then Remi heard Brandy bark, she went on her full intense serious alert looking in every direction. Out of nowhere she sees Brandey trotting over and Remi's face just lit up with pure joy and she hopped with excitement and charged to her dear friend and gave her lots of kisses.
It was just SO CUTE, her face went from very serious to goofy joy in the matter of seconds. I wish I had my camera so I could've filmed it!

Sweet Remi! I too wish you had been able to capture that on film. Take your camera next time, please.

Wow, I haven't checked your photos for a while!
I missed seeing these ADORABLE PHOTOS of Remi and Monster!
I LOVE that last picture of Remi with the donkey and they were kissing? That was TOO ADORABLE!
Oh and that 2nd picture of Monster resting his head on those garden boxes..... OH MY!
That chubby little cute face of his makes me SMILE!
I love that photo too of Remi 'helping' you and laying on the couch!
She looks VERY comfortable!!! She reminds me of a giant Saffy!
Also that last photo of them together sleeping on the floor.... they look so peaceful!

Remi's reaction just reminded me of when a kid gets what they want on Christmas day!

We just got back from Woofstock about an hour ago! Remi is so very tired!
When we first got there she was a little fearful because she has never seen that many dogs in one spot before. She warmed up to the whole thing rather quickly. We didn't stay long because it was really hot. I wish I could say I took some pictures but I sortof forgot I had my camera with me. I was really living in the moment.
All Remi wanted to do was walk around and sniff every dogs butt.


I seen lots of Cavalier King Charles Spaniels, Pugs there and of course a majority of the dogs were probably mixed.
It was just amazing to see that many dogs in one place and all the different shapes and sizes!

We got a little set back in Remi's nail clipping fear.
I went to clip them and I always only take small bits off at a time but she kicked just when I went to clip and of course it made me clip too much off and she started bleeding. I did all the proper things the vet told me to do when such an event happens. We're almost back to where we started though, running away in fear of the clippers.

There's this dog just down my street and he's tied up in the front almost every time I pass by with Remi, and she always stops and stares at him, she will even do a fake pee to stare at him longer. Well, on our walk today we ran into them and she actually got to see him up close and walk with him! Remi definitely has a CRUSH on him! She just gave him kisses like crazy and was just so happy to see him. He seemed quite fond of her too.
She may have a future play date with him.

Also I got my sign today!

Ashley, I am too timid to clip my dogs' nails. I trust my sons to do a better job of it than I can do. I injured one of my dogs, Emma, years ago clipping a mat and ever since then I either take them to the Vet for nail trims (which they do for free) or the Groomer. Don't be hard on yourself as these things happen to everyone.

Congratulations on obtaining your sign today. Are you pleased with it? We need to see a picture.

Remi is such a social butterfly, making friends wherever she goes! I was amused reading about her taking a fake "pee break" just to look at the other dog. Cute!
