Ashley, your treats are made by hand, from scratch which in my opinion, constitutes "Gourmet".

I loved the video! Remi has a wonderful bark. Of course, we enjoyed watching Monster as well. I hadn't seen the "Monster Cuddle" video so I indulged myself in that as well. :D

As far as having a Tasting Event, I think many people would be interested in attending. The venue would have be conducive to a certain clientele. Is there a "Dog Boutique" type of shop in your area (one that caters to higher end clients?). Sometimes with the larger chain stores, it is hard to get a foot in the door. There is a Boutique type of shop for dogs near me that sells "Gourmet" (i.e., handmade/homemade) treats for dogs. Hosting a tasting event at one of their shops, as they are individual franchises, might be a good place to start.

If a store like Petsmart would allow it, that would also be great exposure. I suspect though it would be much harder to infilitrate one of those larger pet store chains than a smaller, proprietor run shop. If not a shop, than a well renowned and respected Groomer in the area with their own shop might also be an ideal location. They have a built in client base from which to draw, in both cases. It's just an idea. 8)

There's probably only one spot close that I would be able to have it that would be big enough but it's still not that roomy. And I don't think they're the kind of place that would go for it. I live too far from Petsmart or Petco to even think about that.

There is a dog groomer place in the neighboring town that I've been meaning to talk to about possible selling my treats there, so I could ask them about it too when I talk to them.

I made a new treat today and I think it will be my next line. :)
They are carrot carob wheat free treats. I think I'll add a little more carrot but all I need to do is think of a good name for them and get them analyzed. But first see if other dogs like them. :D

Those big box stores don't allow anything to be sold that would compete and it has to be approved by corporate. I do like the idea of going to Groomers, offer a discount coupon to rescue packets, feed stores, so many possibilities.

Wheat free carrot, I'm sure it will be taste approved by the staff!

I'm unable to watch the video, will later.

This morning we woke to a surprise....Monster threw up everywhere! and it smelled horrible!
He is perfectly fine now, his normal self and he also ate his breakfast. It rarely ever happens but he actually had a poop accident last night too right in front of the back door. He doesn't make any noise when he needs to go out so he just sits in front of the door waiting and eventually he couldn't hold it anymore. It looks like he ate it afterwards too so that may be why he threw up all over the place?

Now for some pictures.

I feel so badly for Remi, and hope she is as right as rain today. Something must have upset her tummy. I like the collage of photos, but did a double take when at first blush, I thought she had a dead animal. :o

Monster snoozing with the tip of his tongue showing, is just adorable, as is the picture that follows. ♥

She thinks the leaf box is her bed.

Because I don't think I have a picture of Ziggy and Remi together. Check out his death stare.

If I were Remi, I would probably think the leaf box was my special outdoor bed as well. She looks so happy and content in that photo.

That is the first photo that I can recall seeing of Remi and Ziggy. The death stare is apparent, and amusing. :D

Remi is such a good girl to tolerate being a "model". It speaks to her easy going nature.

Monster had diarrhea a few days ago and he had it a few weeks ago too. The only thing in common with those days I believe is he had a bit of cheese but he has never had a problem with cheese before. And he is not one of those dogs that eat things around the yard. His stool is fine now though as both times it cleared up quickly and he seemed fine otherwise.

About a week ago Remi started limping again but it's not constant nor is it that noticeable. She hasn't played with ant other dog besides Monster since the beginning of October and even after the last time she played with her friend she didn't seem sore or have a limp afterwards so I don't think that's the problem. This limp also started during the week when it was pretty warm out so it isn't due to the cold.
Also unlike the limp she had awhile ago (September 25) which only lasted a few days, this limp doesn't seem to affect her at all. She still wants to run around a play and not just lay down and sleep all day.
Her limp doesn't seem to get worse after playing and running around though so I'm not worried about this as she seems fine.

Monkey is still her favorite toy. No matter how many times I bring it inside she brings it right back out.

It always seems that I only notice exactly how much smaller Monster is to Remi in pictures of them together. It must be because Monster has a big personality.

I just love that picture of Remi and Monster together! Each of them are adorable and special in their own way, but put together, and the cuteness factor is over the top!

I hope Remi's lameness is due to changing weather, or something else as innocuous as that. It is bound to come and go considering her surgery. I realize that is of little comfort, but as long as she is happy and recovers relatively quickly, it's all good news.

What an adorable "couple" you have! :D

Love the pics, how did you do that collage? That makes it easier to see all the pics. Aww I do hope Monster is much better now. I forgot to tell you I met another dog, a JR mix named Monster!

Limps with Remi would cause concern, glad it doesn't seem serious.

I love the "to sexy for my hat", that is fantastic. Love the Avi of that one!

Aren't fall leaves the best to lay in, humans to! Remi and Monster on the leaves, that's great.

I can't get the leaf box to show.

I did the collage in photobucket. You just hover over the albums tab on the top and go to edit photos. There should be a button that says Create a Collage. I'll probably do the collage more when I have lots of pictures I want to share. :)

Deb, I know right? Seeing Remi and Monster together is just too cute. It's so adorable when they're outside together without any humans out. Remi will lay somewhere and Monster will run right over to her and sit RIGHT next to her usually with his back facing her back, it's like they're guarding each others back.

Kian, a JR mix named Monster how adorable!
Everyday I'm glad we kept Monster as his name, we just called him that we he was born because he was much much bigger than the rest of the litter and it just stuck. We didn't even have that "What are we going to new our puppy" conversation and no one questioned it either.
With Remi we went weeks trying to think of a name then eventually just stuck with the name she had that the couple gave her before us. Nothing seemed to suit her better. When we were still trying to figure out a name for her while out on a walk this guy stopped to comment on how pretty she was asked what her name was, so I told him right now her name is Remington, Remi for short and he said that Remington is a strong name for a dog. I believe she is strong so that worked out well for her.

Remi's limp was a bit more noticeable this morning so I took her on a shorter walk instead of the normal length morning walk. She didn't seem to notice her limp at all though. I'm having troubles figuring out which of her back legs she is limping on though. How do I tell this? She mostly only limps when she's trotting and it's usually pretty slight.
