Happy 1st Birthday Saffy!!!

I love the video Louise! You got some great photos of her. There was one with the stripes behind her that I thought was an awesome photo! And the ears shot from behind made me laugh! Thank you so much for sharing that.

Louise, that is such a beautiful video! What a treasure, and the music was just perfect. I loved the wee cameo of Pingu, and the last photo was wonderful. :D

What an adorable puppy! I just melted over the pictures of her in the basket with the pink towel and blanket. ♥

You have raised a wonderful Canine Citizen, who also just happens to be sweet, adorable, funny, respectful and most of all, loving. Beautiful!

You will be a terrific "human" Mum one day, should you chose in the very distant future.

Thanks everyone!
Haha Deb..... (I'm not thinking about anything like that right now!!! HAHA!)

DOG SHOW!
Well on Sunday, (I'm posting this a little late~nearly 2 days later~ but) me and Bill went to a Dog Show that was in our town, it only comes about 2 times a year, and since I missed out the first show in May(I had assignments to do  ) which was held in our town SHOW I thought this was a good chance. I was SO GLAD I WENT!!!
All the dogs were SOOOOOO WELL BEHAVED it was AMAZING! Only 1 dog was barking(which it didn't win a prize) and it was a Kerry Blue Terrier, since me and Bill were watching the Terrier Ring. There were 4 rings, but we watched the terrier ring because it was most active.

We were in STAFFY GALORE! Bill LOVES staffies and was falling in love with every little staffy in that ring! He started talking to a breeder and asking questions and asking what prizes their dogs got. Haha, I got a little worried he was thinking of getting one! We've already got one beauty at home... we don't need 3 pups.
Anyways about these staffies: THEY WERE TINY! Now I though Saffy was small at 14kg and 14.5inches! GEEZ! These females AND Males were smaller! The males were about her size and the females were MINI STAFFIES! They were just completely adorable and it completely amazed me how small these dogs were! Haha, it was SUPER ADORABLE when these little 3month olds(or about that) staffy pups were in a comp and they had their cute little trot and their smiling, happy little faces. IN LOVE! :P But they stood SO STILL!!!

But overall, I fell in love with 2 other dogs!!! The first was a little JAPANESE SPITZ in the far ring, it was in a mixed breed competition or something like that because they were schipperkes and bulldogs in the same group. AHHH! Those BIG BLACK EYES and happy smile!!! AHHH! Also I was starring at that most ADORABLE Bulldog because it was absolutely TINY!!! I saw the little schipperke next to it and it was the same size!!! I couldn't stop laughing at how adorable it was because it looked SO MUCH like a statue!!! What a cutie it was!

The 2nd dog that I fell in love with was a SHETLAND SHEEPDOG!!! OHHH I just LOVE that breed SOOO MUCH! I remember when I was in year 1, I rode my bike every day past this house and they had a little shetland sheepdog and it fetched the newspaper everyday and I got all excited every time I rode past when it was out. I called it a Mini-Lassie, I had no idea what a shetland sheepdog was then or a Rough Collie OR haven't even seen the Lassie movie(even until now). But I remember telling myself that one day I will have a Mini-Lassie just like that one! Haha, and I still want one! One day... Yes well after 5 years or so the people moved houses and I never saw that little cutie. But there are a very Shelties here and there, only a few. I don't know but there is something classy about those dogs, they look like "rich" dogs, haha. :P

I saw so many breeds! I'll list as many as I can remember:
A BEAUTIFUL Afghan Hound!!! (they have AMAZING hair)
Alaskan Malamute
Australian Cattledog
Beagle
Bichon Frise
Boxer
BullMastiff
Bulldog (of some sort~SUPER TINY) AND SUPER ADORABLE!!!
Bull Terrier
Bull Terrier(miniature)
An ADORABLE little Chihuahua that surprisingly wasn't barking!!!
Dachshund
Dachshund(miniature)
A BEAUTIFUL Dobermann WITH A TAIL!!!
Dogue de Bordeaux
Fox Terrier(smooth)
French Bulldog
German Shepherd
German Shorthaired Pointer
Irish Wolfhound
Jack Russell Terrier (the most TINIEST little cutie!!!)
The VERY BEAUTIFUL Japanese Spitz
Kerry Blue Terrier
Mastiff
Neapolitan Mastiff
Newfoundland
Pekingese
Pomeranian
Poodle (mini or toy~I couldn't tell)
Poodle(standard)
Rhodesian Ridgeback (I WAS STANDING RIGHT NEXT TO 2 OF THEM!!! SOOO BEAUTIFUL!!!)
Rottweiler
Samoyed
Schipperke
Schnauzer
Shar Pei
A VERY GORGEOUS little Shetland Sheepdog
SOOOOO MANY Staffordshire Bull Terrier's! (Well I shouldn't be surprised because they are Australia's most common/popular dog breed for a pet   )
Tibetan Spaniel
Some BEAUTIFUL Weimaraner's!
West Highland White Terrier

Sorry, I really just wanted to name them all. But obviously that wasn't all, that's only all of what I can remember from what I saw. There were more other terriers that had the shape of a Kerry Blue... like that but different colours and shapes. But I'm not too sure about the breeds.

Yea... I had a really good Sunday going to the show.... ALSO want to share that I am SOOO proud of myself because I got my Chemistry Exam results back and I got and A, A.
A for Knowledge.
A for Process.
Both are achievement marks but Process is more "problem-solving" type of questions. I was actually expecting a B, B.... but there ya go! I'm happy, so all is good!

This Thursday PINGU IS GETTING DESEXED!!! :P

Congrats on your Chemistry exam. :) The dog show sounded like so much fun. Was it an open show? I might have missed you saying anything about that...I always attend those shows. We have around 5 each year to go to. The shows are set up just for fun, but the amount of people who take them seriously is shocking...There was a pretty angry / stressedc-out owner this year. Their dog was trying to get at Kay to sniff/play. The owner kept trying to explain her dogs actions. I tried to assure her I didn't really care, because it's for fun and if the dogs want to sniff, let them, but she kept pulling hes away, shouting at it and saying "Oh, I'm so sorry, she just won't listen!" :|

Awe, Ping-Pong...You're going to be an IT! :P No longer will you be "one of the guys".

Louise, I always knew you were smart! Congratulations on those excellent grades, in Chemistry no less. You should be very proud of yourself. I'm proud of you. :D

My sweet Pingu is "going under the knife" on Thursday, which will be Wednesday-ish here. He's is going to need lots of loving, but he'll manage. Bless his sweet heart! ♥

I'm glad you enjoyed the Dog Show. There are so many wonderful breeds and interesting people with whom to speak. :) I must say though that mixed breeds also rule. 8)

Thanks Emma. Yea, I think it was an open show because the public were allowed to come in and watch. Haha, there were quite a lot of serious people!
HAHA, that reminded me of my old dog Pants, he was desexed at such a young age he was actually confused over what he was.... awww, he was a cutie! Hehe. :P

Haha, yep, under the knife on Thursday. :) Definitely, mixed breeds rule. If there are no mixes breeds around there wouldn't have been any Pants or Pingu... :(
Plus all dogs breeds now were mixed from something in the beginning anyways.

MISS UNIVERSE tonight!
Too bad I already know who won, because as soon as I got home from school my brother told me who won on purpose to spoil it for me.... he knows I look forward to it every year... oh well, I'm still watching it! Haha!

Louise, brothers can be very nasty sometimes. I'm glad you enjoy the Pageant so much. Long before you were born (way back in the early 80's) a girl from London, Ontario won Miss Universe! Her name was Karen Baldwin, I think. I know Baldwin was her last name. For an entire year, there were billboards around town saying "Home of Miss Universe". :D

Perhaps one day you will be Miss Universe! 8) Enjoy the show!

It must be Thursday by now, and Pingu is probably already at the Vet. Give the wee fellow a hug from me when he comes home. I'm sure he'll need a few of those. ♥

Hah Deb, that's funny!
I wouldn't meet the qualifications to get in... not that I would want to anyways! 8)
I honestly hate dressing up and especially MAKE UP, Haha, I cannot have that stuff on my skin.

I didn't really enjoy the program that much this year because they changed quite a lot about it, *call me picky* but little things like the noise in the questions for the top 5...
The MISS UNIVERSE THEME SONG!!! Which I love, and they didn't play it!
Miss Universe Theme Song >>> http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yFgh1RDhv-Q
And a few other things changed too that I didn't like.
Probably my favourite Miss Universe with the Top 5 contestants and the set-up, background and how the whole pageant was performed + the singers/entertainers would have to be either Miss Universe 2006 or 2007.
Those were my favourite years, the 2006/2007 miss universe's is how I got into Spanish Music.
2006- Winner Puerto Rico, Zuleyka Rivera

2007- Winner Japan, Riyo Mori (Mori means Forest in japanese = 森)

Just a little disappointed how this 2001 Miss Universe it wasn't very "Traditional" to the usual, but anyways.

Haha, Deb I think you getting a little ahead of time. It's 5:30pm over here on Wednesday, so Thursday isn't here yet.

I loved the video of Pingu. He is such a darling. Henry and Pingu would have a blast together. I hope all goes well tomorrow! Give Pingu those hugs I sent yesterday to him tomorrow, please. LOL! :D

Haha Deb. Awww, Pingu definitely got those hugs because he needs them! He is such a brave little boy! Holidays start tomorrow so luckily we booked his operation as soon as my holidays start so I can look after him. He is totally knocked out(not literally) and has no energy. He has got many soft pats and rubs. Poor Saffy, she has been crying the whole afternoon, (wait I just looked at the clock) ~Let me correct myself~ she has been crying all YESTERDAY afternoon, haha. She doesn't like being separated from Pingu but it's for the best since they both have a habit to lick each other, and that not happening while he has his stitches!

Poor pup, I would love to snuggle that little guy and make him feel all better.
