Haha, yeah. My mum loves to have vegetables/fruits in our backyard, but the bananas aren't normal bananas, they are cooking ones. :)
Ahhhh! 16C..... the minimum in our Winter is about 16C...... and I usually freeze to death! How can you live.
Obviously you are used to it. :D
Finally in the middle of today I see blue sky!!! HORRAY! Since it has been raining the last 3 days..... :|

The "cooking Bananas" are generally known as Plantain I believe, if they are similar to what is grown in the Caribbean. Meanwhile, I have a totally brown thumb and generally know very little about gardens, plants and vegetables.

Louise, there were days, weeks even of -25C with the windchill over the past several months. At this time of year, 16C feels balmy and people even put down their convertible tops on their cars, and wear shorts and flip flops. Usually it's the University students who are that silly. Most of us wait until it's at least 18C   :P

I think I could acclimate to a warmer climate annually quite nicely about now. However, I would miss our Autumn, which is my favourite season, with the changing leaves. I would also miss the snow in December which makes everyone feel more in the holiday spirit. The novelty has worn off by Boxing Day though. :)

Sorry to hog your thread with my thoughts of "weather".

Saffy and Pingu are lucky to grow up in a such a beautiful place, as are you.

Haha, don't worry Deb. Your not hogging.

Hey everyone!
Latest Video- Pingu's First Bath.
It has Korean background music.... couldn't find any other music with no lyrics. But I like Korean things since I've been watching lots of Korean TV series lately.....although I think I might start learning Korean because I'm not a fan of subtitles.
There are also SO many good looking people there too.

Awww Pingu did not appear to be enjoying his bath very much. Was that your Mum doing the bathing while you were filming? Those looked like Mum hands, efficient and to the point, while doing the job well. 8)

Saffy is so sweet with Pingu. She really loves him and he really loves her! Louise, these are the good old days. :D

Alina- Yes they absolutely love each other.... although I think it's a little bit 'one-sided love' since most of the time Pingu doesn't care about Saffy THAT much, but Saffy cannot bear to be apart from him, hehe. She's insanely in love with him in a sisterly way.

Cyndy- I know right! Dogs are just the cutest thing when they sleep, I honestly can just watch them sleep and always find it fascinating. I love the snoring, kicking, the little legs kicking, they are so precious. :D

Deb- Yes that was my mum... I'm much more gentle then she is since I try to make it not scary but mum loves to scrub them down completely because only she can get them completely clean... But that is her way of things. I'm more of a slow & steady, hehe. :)

Pingu's Puppy Pre-School Today
Hmmm, Pingu had puppy pre-school this afternoon from 6-7pm. Well, surprisingly Pingu acting differently to what I thought he would. At home he is a lively, energetic pup that is a dominant puppy that always plays with Saffy and plays pretty rough. But he was terrified of the pups today and most of them were his size, only 2 big pups just a little bigger than Saffy... a border collie pup and a german shepherd. The whole time he just stayed by my feet and kept on looking at me with sad eyes and wanted me to pick him up. But I didn't pick him up because I wanted him to play, but he didn't move. He did get a little angry when I was patting the german shepherd and when all the pups were playing around my feet he got a little annoyed because he got pushed around... other than that the whole time he was just either laying down by my feet or trying to get on my lap.
The vet nurse who was running the puppy pre-school said to me that "I bet Saffy would love to be here". And I know for sure that she'd go nuts because she LOVED puppy pre-school and I remember her being so brave that when she was the size of a chihuahua she wanted to join in wrestling with a lab and a german shepherd. But they didn't notice her.

Louise, I am more like you but your Mum has the right idea. There is job to do and it will be done well and properly, and over with quickly! I'm sure raising twins has something to do with that.

I can't believe Pingu was the least bit timid at his puppy pre-school. It just goes to show that even though Pingu looks as though he's in charge, it's really Saffy and all her loving that allows him to think that way. Saffy is such a love! I guess Pingu is only a pistol when he's at home, in the safety of Saffy. You are doing a wonderful job raising your two puppies, "Fancy Pants"! 8)

I look forward to your thread daily.
