Hi from Julie, Lic, and Mercy

Hi my name is Julie - my husband introduced me to the daily puppy a few weeks ago and not only am I in love with all the adorable puppies but I get lost for hours reading all the great info on the forums, so I decided I had to join in. I live with two wonderful "puppies", Mercy a 5 year old female Dobie and Lic a 2 year old male Golden mix (yes, really, even with the short black fur).

Mercy is everything you want a Dobie to be, she is brillant, loving, totally unflappable, a bit of a diva, and more than a little silly . Her favorite thing to do is take naps in the giant bean bag in the office and show off in obedience class (she likes to make me look silly by perfectly doing things I said she cant do - I have come to realize that for her having an audience is very rewarding).

Lic is everybody's favorite (Mercy included, she picked him when we were fostering him and his brother when they were 4 months old) a total goofball with more energy than he knows what to do with. His favorite thing to do is take long hike's with his dad, go to agility class, and play tug with anyone (dog or human) that is willing to play.

I love dogs and while I work in child psych by day, one or two evenings a week I get to spend a few hours assisting an amazing couple of dog trainers in teaching obedience classes. I also have the honor of fostering for a local golden retriever rescue on occasion.
