I'll get a few pictures of some of the chick-chick-chickens later today. We have a huge 'flock' of all-sorts. Wyandots, Pekins, White Sussex, some battery hens, and a Vorwork, as well as a couple of Silkies, and a group of beebee chickies.

I'm not sure how many chicks we have, because I wasn't involved in hatching these ones, but four were hatched naturally (under Mum-Chicken) and the others were hatched inside. We'd just gotten down to the amount of chickens we wanted, when we took in a "Silky" (Who is "not"...Probably Rhode Island Red / Silky, but no way is this guy a fuzz ball. He has feathers, instead of "fur", which is a dead give away) who we called Sid Vicious. He's terrible. But the ladies like him, so whatever.

We now have two very aggressive cockerels.
Spike the Buff Pekin, who is the worst, but who we bought twice. Got him once, hated his personality, gave him back, missed him, bought him back. You can't help who you love, even if the one you love is a fluffball chicken with issues.

Not all our boys are nasty, though. Vinnie the White Sussex is a very good boy. We just rehomed Little Vinnie, because he started picking on the girls. We actually had a lot of trouble sexing Little Vinnie, because he didn't have the cockerel tail, or the feet. He looked just like a hen, only he crowed...And made fertile eggs.
I'll get the pictures up by later today if I can. I'm having problems with my computer at the moment. I was uploading pictures from my camera yesterday, and was told there wasn't enough space on the disc. Alright, I'll put the pictures from my computer onto another disc, and resume upload. Well, my computer, since it blew up, doesn't take discs. So, tomorrow we're off into town for a dongle. Until then, Picasa is taking the brunt of my over-loaded-photo-files. 61% uploaded. Just another hour, and then I can delete the computer album, and rely on Picasa to keep my photo's safe, forever.
