Hello! I'd like to introduce myself and Lana

Hi Everyone!

My husband and I just rescued a 9 week old (almost 10 week old) Lab/Shepherd mix who we named Lana. Life certainly has been interesting with a puppy around the house, but we are so in love with her and committed to raising a good, well trained, and well loved dog. I'm working my way through the potty training thread and happily reading that we seem to be doing everything right. Next thread I'll be tackling: Biting and Nipping. She's at that age where it's hard to get under control. We've done lot's of research and I think we are on the right path, but I'm interested to see what other people's personal experience is. I'm so glad to have found this forum!

Thanks in advance for all of the advice I know I'll be getting by just reading through things.

Hi Stacy! I noticed beautiful Lana today in the Recently Added Section. I loved your comments about what her name means in Hawaiian, and I suspect Lana will be anything but that, for now! She is beautiful!

As Tracy (Deerie Me) mentioned, kudos to you for already reading some threads! YAY...that is why we take the time to write them. I think Lana has landed in a wonderful home, and she will live up to her name when the time is right. I also love her name.
