Toy looks so happy in the 2nd photograph! That is a smiling, happy face if there ever was one.

Since you are clearly interested in Photography, we have a thread specifically for that in our "Off-Topic" section. Obviously all the pictures in there are of various things, not just our beloved dogs.

Here is the link:

viewtopic.php?f=22&t=5985

It is more than 130 pages, and I thought perhaps that might interest you, as well as keeping us up to date on the latest photos of darling Toy, in this thread.

yeah, im using a 170 degrees wide fish eye extreme sports camera. (GoPro hero 2).
That is what makes the photos wide. but I think the view from my area makes it even better.

That video is beautiful and amazing to watch! No wonder you are so good at photography. :D

We'd love to know more about you. I've been presuming that the person behind the lens is not the handsome fellow we've seen in the pictures. As much as we love our dogs, we love to know about their humans as well.

For example, I'm Deborah, recently turned 50  , with two human boys, one nearly 16 and the other just turned 20. We live in a small City in Southwestern Ontario, and of course have two Cavalier King Charles Spaniels, Oliver and Henry.

Your pictures of Toy (and Toffee) are so good, and you clearly love Toy so much. It's nice to meet the human behind the dog.

Well, Im Al and im 28. living by the sea with my lovely girl Nirit. My parent got Toy for themselves, flew abroad and asked me to keep Toy for the while, that's when I first knew he's staying and not coming back to them :)
Then they came back, found out im keeping Toy and then they went to get Toffee (Toy's sister) and now we'r all one big loving pack :)

This is me :)

Al, it is lovely to meet you! Clearly you love Toy, (and who couldn't?!), with all your heart. Nirit is a lucky girl to have you.

We're so glad you joined our community of dog lovers. How did you ever manage to take that photo of both Toy and Toffee kissing you from underneath? I love that picture. ♥ Mind you, I'm a soft touch for any pictures of dogs' tongues. Who doesn't love a good tongue shot?

I am really impressed with your photography. I could watch that video over and over. I suspect with your talent, you are the "Resident Photographer" at family functions. One of my brothers, of which I have 4, is a photographer of mostly Equine events and travels the world covering them, including the Olympics in Beijing.

Thank you for being so forthcoming. Do you mind if we call you Al henceforth? Please call me Deborah or Deb (never Debbie!), and welcome again.

Deb the man behind the pictures is a handsome guy! I loved the video, you are very good & very fast to keep up with those two. It's nice to know more about you and the story behind Toy and Toffee.

I loved the slow motion shots, that is so pretty.

Is that your girlfriend in the quick candid shots?

Kian, good eye...now I have to go back and look for those! 8) :D

It's funny what one person may see in a photograph as another may notice something entirely different.

LOL, thanks for all the compliments Deb, your brother sounds real professional.
regarding the tongues photo, Toffee and Toy are licking obsessively everything in the way, therefore it was just a matter of timing and angle :) and my GoPro HD camera does the rest.
Al is really my english nickname for Alon, so ofcourse you can.

I was wondering, Do you know if I can I link you guys to photos on facebook? each time I wanna show you a photo I need to reduce its quality and upload it here. I don't want to violate any rules, but it would be much easier just to show you some photos there..

Oh, and we just came back from the beach again, so here's a quick look:

I am impressed as well! yup that was a friend of mine with the glasses and my GF as well.
Those quick candid shots are called Time Lapses.
I got some more awsome ones on my channel (with quick skies & clouds, like those you see on National Geographic):

Al, I can also call you "Alon" as that is your name.

Unfortunately, I am not very computer savvy, but most of us on here upload our photos to "Photobucket", a free photo hosting website, and select the Medium size. All we have to do after that is click on the IMG link (which copies automatically) and paste in the thread. It serves two purposes really; 1) your digital photos are saved on an outside site and, 2) You can also use the email code if you wish to email photos to friends if the file size is really large, and hard to attach, which is what I experience more often than not.

I use Photobucket, so I know you could easily master it in no time.

Hopefully one of our more knowledgeable members will be able to offer more insight when it comes to linking up with Facebook. As you've discovered, attaching a link to YouTube also works. 8)

Thanks for explaining the "double tongue" shot, and I finally noticed your GF, Nirit (very pretty!) and your friend. For some reason I had totally blocked that wee bit of info in the video. I tend to notice tiny things that no one else sees and miss the big things. I couldn't wait to see more of Toy (and Toffee) running together again to that perfect soundtrack.

Toy is absolutely adorable (Toffee too)!! :D I especially love the pictures on the beach, and it looks like little Toy does too. Welcome to the DP (a little late) from Sylvia and my furbaby Maya.
